One of my many favourite TSO songs. Chloe Lowery does a fantastic job which really sets the mood of bringing the christmas spirit into my heart. Wish one day this very underated band could make their way down to Australia to perform their very magical show.
I don't think it's ever meant to be a 'slap in the face' to his memory at all, I personally think keeping his songs in the set list keeps his memory alive. Many audience members are TSO newbies and, unfortunately, may not be aware of who Daryl is. If they like the song enough during the show, perhaps they'll later look it up and buy the song off iTunes or even buy the entire TSO album, then get to hear and love Daryl's song(s) as much as the rest of us long-time TSO fans do.
I must admit it is a very beautiful rendition indeed.after listening to the original, this beautiful creature puts something that you just cant explain, thanks for the upload
Cloe is such an amazing talent. I have no idea how she has not been picked up by some producer somewhere. Seeing this live this week was just mind blowing. Seriously disappointing that they didn't have her sing more. I would have to guess she must love what she does with TSO, because she should be a billionaire solo artist.
I think both Daryl and Chloe brought their considerable talents to this song, they both bring life to it in their own way, of course there will never be another Daryl Pediford, and I don't think Chloe is trying to be, I think the band wants to keep the soul of the song and it's original singer alive.
I clicked on this link thinking "wow, a performance by Daryl I haven't seen yet" - oh, the disappointment. This kinda feels like blasphemy. This song will forever be connected to Daryl and it feels SO wrong seeing and hearing TSO performing it with someone else singing it - it's as if they took a dump on Daryl's memory. I DO love Daryl's version though.
Amazing! I’ve never heard anyone sing it better than her!

Beautiful version of Music Box Blues. Beautiful singing!

As a singer you got no better backing band than TSO.

Well if anyone other than Daryl can do this song the justice it deserves, it's Chloe Lowery.
Daryl would be proud! Perfect choice Paul she understands it
I Always loved the cd version I first heard with Katrina Chester singing this so I tend to prefer the versions with a female vocalist
