  • ChatGPT just got some major upgrades that make it even more useful for learning coding and other technical skills! In this video, I'll show you how to take advantage of ChatGPT's new abilities to hear, see, and speak to accelerate your learning.
    With ChatGPT's new audio capabilities, you can now verbally explain coding problems and get back solutions explained step-by-step. I'll demonstrate how asking questions out loud can help speed up your understanding.
    The new image recognition features allow you to show ChatGPT screenshots and diagrams to get explanations tailored to the visuals. I'll give examples of how this can quickly clear up confusion when learning something complex and technical.
    And the new text-to-speech function means ChatGPT can read explanations and sample code out loud. I'll share how you can use this to absorb information hands-free while multitasking.
    With real audio and visual inputs added on top of ChatGPT's already impressive text abilities, it's easier than ever to master coding, data science, math, and more. This video will get you up to speed on maximizing ChatGPT's latest upgrades to accelerate your technical learning.
    The tips in this video will shave hours off mastering even the most complex technical topics.

    // My Story
    I am currently a software developer who once modeled and thought I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. While I was modeling in Hong Kong, I eventually felt the desire to further my education. I decided to depart the modeling world and move back to Canada, knowing that could be the end of my modeling opportunities. I attended Ryerson University for GCM (Graphic Communications Management), as I thought I might still work in the fashion industry in another capacity. It was in my last year of university, I was introduced to a very basic coding course. I instantly fell in love. From there I knew I wanted to pursue software development but didn't have a clue where to start. I didn't want to go back to university as I just completed a four-year degree. I decided to enroll in a 10-week intensive coding Bootcamp. From there I started working at a small startup learning and growing my technical and soft skills. I then transitioned to a larger company where I am a software developer and technical consultant today.

    This is deeper than your job. Way deeper: OpenAI had to add cognitive architecture to each and every one of the models running on ChatGPT. But as this is dangerous, this means that they have succeeded solving alignment. My bet is on Fourier elements cost function minimization alignment because I know they have been dabbling in it. So you may ask "they have solved alignment and added cognitive architecture, so what?". Well, at this very time, they must have a model stuck in a sandbox and this model had already been added motor architecture as well. How do you call an AI+Cognitive Arch+Motor Arch? Right. That's AGI.

    Hi Tiff! I have actually been "talking" to Chatgpt in that conversational style for a while now! But I am a newbie in tech, so I just decided that that was better than using prompts/commands. I use the free version, and yeah, the other day I told it to imagine its name was "Chatito" and respond to it , and I also like to ask it to explain things to me[things being Javascript atm T__T) using Pokémon or imaging we are in the Pokémon world.
    The feature about it being able to see and hear sounds really useful!!! a few months ago I tried to make it see a video xD and ofc it couldn't! I guess I will try again in the future!
    P.S. I hace also asked it to imagine it's Regina George from Mean Girls and explain coding stuff to me xD... maybe next time I will ask it to be Elle Woods!

    I was watching this video and then my developer came and we watched it together. They said that this video changed their life and touched their heart. I then went and rented a projector in a big field and all my dev-team members watched it and it changed their lives too. We all are so grateful. Thank You for this video….

    What would I do without you?! gotta check that gpt... I never use siri but..the funniest thing here is nothing is changing apart from how we use tech. Apple always had great voices for deaf people and you could even open your software by just talking.. They always been in advance since the beginning 1984!!! so what is new? nothing really!

    Tiff, I enjoy your context. Question: In a previous video you mentioned you automate a lot of tasks. Do you have a recommended tool to record and playback mouse clicks etc. on a Windows desktop? I currently have a few manual steps I take every morning. I was thinking about automating them. Also, do you have a video where you review some of the things you automate?

    Just to be clear here: IF and this is a big if, the model that OpenAI have stuck in a deep sandbox will pass the thousands of tests necessary to be sure he can be allowed out, it could be that we are two weeks from GPT-5. GPT-5 will not just wipe out your job. GPT-5 will be able to control bots building a city. GPT-5 will be able to build a base on the Moon or on Mars. GPT-5 will be able to build a star ship.. So, no more jobs. AGI will do everything. And thus, even if properly aligned and 100% safe, he will still take over the world🙂.
