Hey. I really enjoy the content but not sure if anyone noticed but in the 2nd match between Iden vs palpatine. You played avenger and killed Iden. This can’t happened because avenger can only kill non leader units. Unless I have read the card wrong
No worries. I still miss read and miss play things myself during games. I feel like I’ll finally get to a point where I know every card and how it works then next set will drop and will have to learn all over again. Looking forward to the future sets though. Keep the content comming I am enjoying it all.
Love the content guys, the way you both talk through lines of play has been super helpful to understanding a variety of decks. I took Vader Vigilance to a local this week and had 2 control mirror match ups. The time limit kept our decisions quick and the "slog" was actually not bad and both matches went to 3 games. Even though a time limit is not your M.O. for this tournament I would suggest yall try it out if you end up with another control mirror. I had a ton of fun, won both of those games and then joked with both players that we were all winners for not going over time. Placed second losing to a Cunning Luke in match 3 because Spark of the Rebellion and off aspect Force Throw kept me in top deck mode. Keep it up, been looking forward to each new round of this tourny and will try to catch you live if the timing ever works out.
Appreciate this video hard to find footage of the control mirror with both players running 3x vigilance + restock was curious to see how this plays out!
I think an early tarkin town on an A wing before it gets buffed is prio 1, dont let it get fleet lt. or wing leader into a monster and does like 9 damage over the two turns before you can remove them. Just a thought
Tournaments are going to have to find a way to to let these control matches play out. Even playing under the pressure of a clock, i don't see how you're getting them in under an hour.
Just in case it wasn't answered: For Palpatine and Inferno Four, you have to fully resolve Palp's ability then resolve Inferno Four's. So short answer is Draw, then look at top 2.
