Just for the record there are very few company making balance spring in the whole Switzerland. Most companies outsource tons of parts (yes including Patek and AP. I was at H. Moser Factory and they are a company that's one of the few companies making their own balance spring (and they make it for other well known brands) The reason why outsourcing parts is common is because the amount of specific machinery that's required to manufacture each part. In fact Some machines only exist at certain factories because they have been custom made.
Well, first thing I strongly recommend to anyone, is to not get under pressure from anyone, let alone some youtubers, to make their purchase choices. So called watch community, whatever that means, developed a nasty way of judging people by what they put on their wrists - they would criticize Hublot or similar brands for lack of mechanical innovation, lack of quality or no in-house movements, but at the same time they praise Rolex, who has not been innovating for a loooong time, produces mostly boring watches, of quality far worse then i.e. Grand Seiko - who guys like Nico do not even pay much attention to (as he pays attention to re-sale value, nothing else). I am tempted to buy Hublot just to show my middle finger to all those watch snobs. Look at those ugly pieces Richard Mille does - they are as ostentatious as Hublot, they are made for people with zero taste (seriously, check who actually wears them, certainly noone you would accuse of having some class....), but are even more expensive, yet Nicos of the world love'em.
It is ridiculous that you justify hate on a company because they charge what the market will bear as evidenced by the fact that Hublot is the 12th biggest seller of the Swiss watchmakers.
These dismissive watch nerds act as though Hublot cares about their poor asses. Made doubly ridiculous when the dude smirking is wearing clothes and a hair bun from the 90s.
Incorrect. The movement in the (classic) Big Bang, available 2023, is based on an ETA 7753. The list price is 14.600 €. I own a Meca-10 and I love this watch, but Hublot watches with simple (decorated) ETA movements are way to expensive for what they bring to the table. For almost 15.000 €, you get a manufactory movement watch at almost every other luxury watch brand.

And Hublot is one of them

the actual irony being that actual watch enthusiasts can see the value of Hublot in the industry
Absolutely true. The haters are unthinking lemmings.
My friends has a Hublot bigbang in gold , people always comment on it . 😅

solid content from a non-hate , non-biased person delivering an objective view point about Hublot.

Only the classic fusion model has a 3rd party movement.
