Lots of old school cool! I don't mind new tech engines in older cars it makes the more reliable and easier to fix. But at the same time it is more fun to work on an older engine.
Everyone bundled up in long pants, hoodies and thick jackets...it probably 25 degrees C out and everyone is freezing to death 🙂 Crazy mix of cars there!
They're on the Sunshine Coast, they only get 4 days of winter each year! Head inland and down south and it gets colder. Not Aberfeldy in January cold but still cold.
is that 56 ford "ute" named falcon down there? did ford use that name before 62? and there was some good 55-56-57 cars there.. both ford and chevy. especially the 56 chevy 4dht sports cupe was nice. not liek the wreck i have in the barn of the same car ;)
The only '56 Ford "ute" I saw was the purple F-100, which were sold here as F-100s. Ford of Australia built a proper passenger car based ute at the time as well, sold as a Mainline and based on the full-sized US Fords. The Falcon name was first used here for the 1960 model year Falcons, same as in the US.
@@ehholden2376 more of an “all about it” question more than the brand but now i have something to look more into it, havent seen the older ones before just new style here in the US
