Being a musician who was born and raised in the era that he was born and raised in, who experienced the level of commercial musical success that he did throughout the entire 1990s, followed by the level of critical musical success that he did throughout the 2000s, who is finding himself onstage with Mick Jones & Paul Simonon - the guitarist & bassist of THE fucking *CLASH,* one-half of The Clash - headlining a massive music festival that thousands & thousands of people attended, knowing that he was the main draw that brought them there, is generally gonna instill a shitload of confidence in a BritBong like Damo McAlbo.

Thanks for your post of this concert. I love the animation, YES. But it is fun to see David A and " half of The Clash" along w/ all the " living souls" who make this great music happen.

simple analog synths today can record a parameter with a custom arpegiator in it,
in simple terms, they recorded their own arpegiator, not the whole track, just which notes to play in the scale, like in this song, they recorded a 1-5-8 up 4 octaves then back down, for example if they played "C" the synth would know to play C1-G1-C2-G2-C3-G3-C4-G4-C5 and back down. they kept it very simple here but it can get veryy complex with all the synth parameters (Layers) you have access to create now

Who are the chorus singers?
The audio is pretty good, but do you think you could upload in higher video quality too? I'm adding some of the live music to a playlist.
I seeked for a better quality back when it was aired, but unfortunately, I didn't find a better video than this...
I was able to correct almost all the audio stuffs, but nothing to be done with the video.
Maybe there are better links on the internet now ? I don't know... But it honestly took me far too much time, especially the subtitled interviews, to convince me to re-upload them haha
However, now that you say it, I'm gonna take a look over newer files, maybe there are HD ones, without silences and stuffs.
If so, a re-upload could be done, after all, it's a long time since I put something on this channel !
That would be great. Unfortunately I don't think there is any other source besides that one on Damons channel, unfortunately the video quality there sucked.

The only files I find on the internet are the same that I already have on my hard drive, so I guess you won't find any better video, unfortunately !

@ThunderX19 i think The Orchestral Intro is more of a solemn anthem and this is more of the suspenseful, awesome feeling that sends a chill down your spine, but it too has a wholeness to it and i see what you mean by anthem, so i kinda agree with you. what do you think about Pirate Jet? i think it's the "in the gutter, zombified people" feeling that bonds you to Damon and makes you feel the greatness of GORILLAAAAAAAZZZZZ!!!!!

I know this sounds stupid but I don't like Gorillaz live performances because I like to think of them as cartoons Ahahaha but other than that it sounds really good
The storyline behind it is that the real members of the band weren't allowed to go onstage, and that Damon and the others are just a 'cover band'. Or at least something like that, I'm not really sure.

having holograms for a whole concert would be really boring and impersonal, not to mention insanely expensive. The best parts of concerts are the small things that happen, that are improvised and done on a whim that make each performance different and unique. I 'd take Damon over holograms any day
