(That's how states got around the money proabition during the "free banking era".) The reason why the founders took the power to coin or print money from the states is because they didn't want competing currencys and back in those days, issuing money was the privlage of sovereign countries. What was one of the first acts of the confederate states when they broke from the Union? They printed their own money. In fact, they violated every prohabition in Article 1 section 10. Today a one dollar goldback sells on the market for USD $5.14, while 1/1000th of an ounce of gold without the plastic, sells for USD $1.78. Any “goldback” designed to skim a 70% profit off the rubes is a deal-killer for me. You’re better off scraping together enough $$ to buy actual gram bars, if you can’t afford ounces or higher fractionals. Don’t get ripped off by a cutesy gimmick.

Alright! Someone actually bringing up Article I, Sec 10... mandating "hard" or "sound" money. With all the problems in our economy today, I say that the debasement of our money (since 1913) is our biggest problem that underlies almost all of our economic issues. The Government has been raising the taxes by increase of your tax brackets as the CPI increases, not to mention the inflation tax in general and now with zero interest rates ripping off all the savers. The ability for the FED to create money for free and fund all the government programs has led to the government taking charge over everything and ruining the republic (for which we stand).

So if governments ban market crypto-currencies then how are you going to withdraw or cash out your crypto profits/losses?? Who would take a crypto that could land you in jail? Central banks and bankers around the world cooperate all the time, theyve always banned competing money, and theyve always been successful in doing that.
