Any difference in crawling performance? I think the only difference is the shell?
The 2021 is more balanced as stock.
@Kramerica world thank you for the quick reply. I prefer the older body. But definitely want the best crawling capability stock. I know nothing about aftermarket stuff for these. I am capable of doing the work. But no idea on parts to buy.
The older body climbs well. Weigh down the front end a little and change out the tires. 👍🏻

1 more question. Recommendation on battery? Do I really need a traxxas battery
I use Traxxas batteries. TRX-4 is only compatible with Traxxas. Too lazy to switch out for different brand. They’re expensive, but I’ve never had an issue and it will maintain warranty
How do you set the modes on 79 bronco? Traxxas. I can't tell if I'm changing modes or not by the way they say to change modes lol great video man.

These are the exact 2 trucks I'm deciding between. They both look so awesome. I think I'm going to go for the New Blue Bronco. I really want the clipless body. But that 79 is so awesome.
Can’t go wrong with either one. I have to admit, the clipless body is awesome

Honestly, I’d probably say that the ‘21 is a better climber out of the box
both gorgeous trucks but the 79 bronco edges ahead for me👍👍😀
