I was asked by the folks at Matein to review this backpack. When I saw the size (it's a small backpack) and the price (crazy low price!) I thought that this bag may be a joke. Then it arrived and I literally was blown away!! This may be the very best bag for the money that I have ever reviewed. At only $24 it is absolutely clear that the price is right. The only downside is the small size. In fact, I am sure that most of my viewers will skip this bag because it really is too small for most serious fishermen. That being said, this backpack really does fit a niche, and if you are in that niche, you will probably love this bag. I am amazed at the quality of the bag. The material is solid, the stitching looks very good, the zippers work well, there is a plethora of d-rings to attach stuff to, it has more pockets than you would believe, and it has multiple ways to carry the bag. Oh, and it has a rod holder, a tool pocket, a sunglasses pocket, and on and on and on. This bag is really dope for such a low price. If you don't take a ton of tackle with you when you fish. If you hop around from pond to pond, if you wade in creeks, rivers and stream, this may be the perfect backpack for you.

Looks great. I hate bigger bags for bank fishing. Smaller bags keep me from packing too much.

If it came in a bigger size it would be interesting to me,It's too small for my needs,but I really like a lot of the little touches.The feet on the bottom,the multi-use straps,and D rings.I wish it had the compression straps on the sides,It's the feature I find myself using the most on my bag.I bought a "military style" bag of for about $5 more than this one,where I can fit 3- 3700 boxes + in the main compartment.

I think one of the hunting backpacks would have better organization and probably hold more tackle without adding much more bulk to me I don't see any special features that stand out you couldn't get with about any backpack
I have this backpack but in all black. I didn't like it because I found it way to small. I get compact backpacks but this is way to small for me. Everything else you mentioned in your review is true but it's just not for me.

Not once did you put this bag on your body! Where do the straps make contact on the body. I'm an Army veteran, not just in the Army but Infantry, Airborne, OD Green, 1 each. Strap(s) that make contact with neck = FAIL. Strap(s) that make contact on the front of the deltoid = FAIL. This is the most important thing with any back/pack period. Get this right 1st. and forget all the hangle dangle sh@t! PLEASE God.
It’s a small, cheap backpack. It’s not made to fit well. Thanks for the feedback
