- Blake and I explored the suburbs of Kansas City, KS by hitting up a couple of record stores and a very wonderful antique mall! This place gave me total "The Shed" vibes from Paducah (iykyk!) and I would have loved to have spent hours and hours in there. Unfortunately Blake gave me a time limit of 30 mins (I definitely went over my time limit) but I still managed to spend over $100 in there 😜 This may have been the point in the trip where I started hearing the devil on my shoulder whispering... just buy it... you're on vacation... it's fine.... you need it... you deserve it... just splurge a little....
Then I blacked out, and when I woke up in California I had a full van. 🤷🏻♀️

That antique place was so neat. Love the poodle cloth, the pyrex mixing bowel set, and all the Christmas knickknacks. Thanks for bringing us along.

OH HELllll NAH!! Blake just happens to squeeze in 2 (possibly 3 if he found the reel store) & gives you a 30 minute antique mall ultimatum?!?! The first time he stomped his foot, I would have stomped ON his foot in heels 😝!! Prop’s to you Jamie for being a badass supportive wife re: his hobby, but if my hub’s & I are out somewhere there is a golf store/simulator near an antique mall it’s, "Love You Bye", & we catch up later 🤣. Regardless of me being facetious, I want you both to know that I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed your vlogs & shopping videos! You have brought quite a bit of laughter into a not so happy time in my life & I appreciate you both so very much. LOL! Thanks for the laugh and extra thanks for the kind words! I started my channel because I myself was not going through a happy time and I needed a distraction and creative outlet… so to hear it brings someone else a bit of joy is everything to me. 💖

I definitely would have requested to be dropped off at a nearby thrift/antique store while hubby shopped for records, just to prevent my eyes from rolling back in my head 😄
First! I would have just gone right into the antique store and left my husband on his own, lol. I would love to do a trip like yours but starting from the east coast. St. Louis and Chicago are on my wish list plus I love small towns.

Oooh. I remember thinking there was some $$$ in Overland Park when I was there a few years ago. Thought maybe there would be some more upscale stuff in thrift stores, but I don't remember that being the case. Wish I would have visited that antique mall!!
