    I have been here in Sweden for the last three months and travelling around. It is true that indians don't acknowledge each other. Surprised with this attitude

    I kinda feel everyone goes through it. So people in general stop greeting because they know the other person isn't gonna look at you.

    I think its the innate nature of competition. Since childhood we look upon a fellow countryman more as a competitor than as a brother. This perspective is continuing into adulthood. So at what level should the change happen?! :) :) :) Happy to share brother!

    Not only Indians. This is increasingly common among the Chinese community overseas. There are a lot of young Chinese who have decided to cut ties with family members as well their own people as a whole. Ignorant is becoming a norm among them indeed.

    Thats what surprises me, i am local in Riga, Latvia ...indians are half across the world from India and yet they pass each other without even saying hi...Europeans seeing each other somewhere in Asia would greet each other

    Yes, some people even don't support despite being from same nation, while swedish support each other very much

  • @DandaaCracy

    The reason is that indian people judge other indians based on certain pre conceived notions ex: "he looks lower than me or she looks lower than me". thats they they avoid each other

    Hey Ashutosh!!! I'd actually say this varies from person to person. Even some Swedes don't return the 'Hej' sometimes. But I have most definitely noticed that no Indian, no Pakistani would say hey hello to fellow countrymen. I actually saw you and Nayhal with your family last week near a bus stop. I was so excited and wanted to come say Hi and maybe even take a selfie :p but since I saw you were with family, I hesitated, didn't want to disturb you, but it was really nice to see you two in person.

    • @learningmaster8060
      @learningmaster8060 5 месяцев назад

      The reason for this is simple, " It is not the Indian culture to say hello to strangers. So when an Indian live in Sweden, they try to be like Swedish, even though this is not normal in their culture. But when two Indians meet each other, they just act like how they act in India.
      In Kerala villages, when we make eye contact with another person, we always give a little smile. Many times in Europe, I could recognise the other Indian was from a Kerala village based on the way he smile. And this smile happens only between Kerala guys, ( and occasionally to Tamil village boys also )

    I am in Sweden , in västerås yes bahot bar hui hai ye cheez mujhe lagta hai ye isly hota hai kyunki jab aap kisi naye ya unknown se milte ho to aap nice banker dikhana chahte ho... or jab aap apne ya apne hi desh ke logo se milte ho yo aap ignore kar dete ho.. for ex. Apko yr pata hai ke samne vala banda apko judge nai karega but ek Indian se bat shuru ho gyi to judge karte hai . Apni privacy rekhna chahte hai.. unko pata haivye bahar vala hej Hi se jada nai hoga per Indian mentality se kuch logo ko problem hota hai.. isly ignore karte hai ..sab nai but bahot. I hope aap samjh paye main kya samjha rahi hu..

    Another similar experience Ashutosh 😀. Yaar even after giving a quick smile, many indian people don’t give smile specifically to Indians. God knows what’s in their mind. Sometimes I feel, ye log jaldbazi me apane saman ke saath apana rude attitude bhi india se Sweden leker aa gaye 😊.

    Magar hamari case mein jab mein koi Indian male ko dikhta hun to smile dene ko try karta hun to sayad unko comfort nehin hota o mereko undekha karka pass kar jate our female k bareme na batau to sahi hei. Unko smile dene kliye dar lagta kahin oo hamko chhichora na samajh le. 😂😂😂
    Magar joo v bolo undar se khusi to milti hei jab koi Indian ko dekhte ho to.
    By the way mun b Odisha ru. Au tumara vlog sabubele dekhe 😍.

    It's because they think they start carrying huge ego because we subconsciously think getting to foreign countries is a huge accomplishment and that we are better than others. They can't show it to foreigners because of inferiority complex so they show it to their fellow Indians.
    I faced the same in Brussels but let me tell you not everyone is the same. Once I got stuck on the third day in the city and one person helped me to get to the right location.
