i put a set of the ultimate bunkboard SUPREMES on a few years back. run a ranger RT 178 (aluminum, unpainted bottom). on those UB boards, it's not that slick. boat doesn't just slide off. has to be powered off, on. not sure if the composites you use are that different from the 'supremes'? at any rate, LOVE a trouble-free, no-worry bunk board.. when the carpeting wore on the original set, I upgraded and have not thought about bunkboards since. just got a new boat (vexus avx aluminum) and will be replacing my carpeted bunk boards shortly.
Definitely have to leave the strap on! I like it now after having done it a few times, effortless loading and unloading. Just have to be patient and not rush things.
You picked a day like I would do that. Hurricane-force winds, or insane cold front preventing fishing so I guess I'll get ready to fish. Are the boards holding up after 18 months of use and would you do anything different in installation now?
These Ultimate Bunk Boards, aren't they just PVC plastic 2x4 type of Trex? If its the same thing I would assume it would be a lot cheaper to use Trex no?
Anyone know wear you can buy this supply in the northeast? Ultimate Bunks Boards want $600.00 for one 10ft pair shipped to the northeast? I just want the PVC wood and I can make them myself.
Pick up a ramp and clamp. Problem solved.
it looked to me that you were going the wrong direction to remobe those bolts.

that was almost like a roller trailer... a good thing you leave the winch strap on until you get close to the water!

Yes I believe they are the same as Trex. Not exactly sure of the chemical makeup, but similar indeed.
I saw you unhook that strap without backing it off and was shouting at my screen "NOOOOOOOOO"
Lol…. on screaming at your screen. Still living the boards, just have to be super cautious loading and unloading. Effortless!!!! Thanks for watching.

No thanks I prefer my bass boat sticking to the trailer
