Hello everyone! :)
I'm sorry it's been forever since my last Voyager video. I got kind of burnt out on it after editing with it for 20 videos straight lol! But I'm back with a new Janeway & Chakotay video. Yay! This one is kind of different from my others videos for them. I tried to challenge myself to use scenes I don't normally use and I think it turned out pretty well :)
Thank you to my dear friend Michelle, for this song recommendation. It worked out perfectly for them!
I apologize for the drastic change in my watermark. I've had some issues of people stealing my Voyager videos, cropping off or covering up my watermark in the corner, posting them elsewhere, and claiming them as their own. Hopefully, this new solution will prevent that from happening in the future. I'm sorry if this is distracting for you guys, I hate it and would prefer not to, but I feel like I don't have a better option.
I hope you all can still manage to enjoy this and my future Voyager edits :)

There was a million and one ways for the writers to keep the Captain’s authoritative stature ( their big excuse) and still give this beautiful chemistry a chance or at least a possibility of a future!!! Still mad at that writing choice!!! Just because you have a strong female character, it doesn’t have to mean she stays alone ! And as much as I think highly of Jeri Ryan’s work, her character for me changed the whole dynamic and everything felt colder!

That's my sentiment too. It always seems strong female characters always get stereotyped to be alone, solitary and relationships or emotion is weakness, which irks me. Women can have it all, be a wife, lover, mother and still be strong. And emotion isn't weakness but being human. The PTB had a missed opportunity here to show that, particularly since Janeway and Chakotay were more like the "mother" and "father" of Voyager. There needs to be more strong female characters, especially leads, that have it all as well as show their human side for role models.
Kate Mulgrew was guilty for that too, she was the one who didn't want the kiss, because it was a kiss in Resolutions. I love her but that I can't forgive.😅
Great video, I can't believe that after all these years I'm still upset that they didn't get together, thanks for showing their incredible chemistry!
Now I can't look away. This has quickly become one of my favorite J/C videos of all time not only from what you've made but of all the videos I've seen (which there's a lot!). Absolutely amazing as usual, perfectly timed, and the song fits them so well. Love it! 🥰

This happens to me all the time, so many of my videos have been stolen and posted on Instagram and they cut my watermark and/or change the song but it’s still my editing. So I really hope people stop stealing your work! It’s very frustrating when you work so hard on a project just for someone to steal it and remove your watermark and try and claim the video as their own, it’s so unfair. You don’t deserve it at all!

I often like to put a front foot forward on this issue and go all out to praise artists like yourself that put the time (this one in particular!) and effort and love in, the singular genius that goes into each of these and the inspiration and knowledge of the characters..to find (as you indeed have) the love of the characters and the delight in the magic of comedy that plays on the very sexual tension the show itself plays toward? Very 'Cervantes' of you :D
To see such work spoiled by a watermark? A sad day every time. I expect to see a watermark on filthy money (that we all must touch) or some bottom end piracy prevention or render software blackmail..not on top drawer product like yours, NOT all over the ACTUAL art :p because it DOES damage the product, carries the eye and imagination off topic; so worthy a product as well..as Shakespeare wrote 'The more clear and crystal is the sky, the uglier seem the clouds that in it fly'
Nonetheless as a technical demo of you skill it has no peer..your 'Punch through' seems to be an honourable compromise and the perfection of the art..the voiceover clips and audio isolation were passable but most beloved for the fact of the very effort and on 'Punch Through' the watermark was less offensive, less aggressive :)

I ask only that you consider this, to not limp before the lame and to never be in fear of the thief, will you nil you they will find their nasty little advantage by cheating NEVER let their little minds work against your OWN advantage..which is so FAR AHEAD of them, different leagues, get me? I've never understood the "J/C-shippers" who romp around mainly on the fanfiction sites.
Janeway rejected Chakotay, so Chakotay moved on.
Janeway was too old for Chakotay anyway . moreover Chakotay and Seven make the better couple. It just should have been scripted better.
She's the same age or at least the actors are
