I think the reason that all pours were basically the same is because you’re using a very wide mouthed cup pouring into another wide open cup. There’s little to no resistance. Basically the moment they get tipped they all plop out. A better test would be to pour them through a funnel or on a ramp/slide. Part of the problem too is that they’re all synthetic 0W oils so they’re all going to pour really well. Still interesting though, I love watching these pour videos, thanks for the time and effort.
S000 you live in antartica? Hot or running temp gives a good perspective in what oil does best.imho. 5w-0w oils overlap so much that the cushion may be better tham a millisecond faster flow when compressed or pushed by a pump??? Japanese oil tech at engine manufacture facility seemed to infer that USA destroys their engines with 0w oils by green mandates. 0w/ 5w 20z are only rated up to 60 c or close to 68 f then a 30 run temp oil is necessary to stop oil burning, carbon on oil rings that freeze up and destroy the cylinder walls at half life of the engine! He said do not blame toyota for USA green mandates! If I remember correctly. The gist was temp in desert freeway drives require higher viscosity if you desire engine longevity over 2 mpg and 80,000 engine life. Not 20w-50, just a reasonable balance viscosity to ambient air temp and the engine temp. Change out burned oil if your car overheats. 5,000 miles will degrade any oil. The carbon black crispies will eat up any engine. Ps my engines run 300,000 miles and out last my running geer. Just a bit of advise and old maintenance man perspective! Love, Peace and Awareness precious Spirits!
Definitely entertaining for me since it will never reach those temperatures here in Long Beach, California. The cups seemed perfectly aligned so the winner is Chevron. I wish Havoline was more readily available though. Using any of these 0W-20 motor oil in the real world, those 1-2 seconds is not much of a significant difference. For the consumer, you will be fine with any of these 0W-20. Thank you for the great video and taking the time to set everything up for us to watch.
Yes, Resolute is packaged by CITGO. Same juice as Supergard. CITGO did package some of the Super Tech but not since 2017/18. Obviously, Super Tech quality has diminished.
TRDRacing: Citgo seems to make some good oil. Starting using it in my dad's 2002 Lighting which has an oil separator on it. When the truck was using Ford synthetic blend, the oil in the separator would look super nasty when you drained it. Now with the Citgo synthetic, the oil coming out of the separator looks much better.
Finally, someone testing at reasonable temperatures.

Richard Ojeda I live in Midwest and havoline pro DS is available in all vicosities in 6 quart boxes at Walmart for $ 15.97
A good for fun test, do a high temp wear test using 0w20 vs 10w30 full synthetic. Heat the oils up to 200F the immediately test.

I've been waiting for this! Great video
Citgo did great

Clear winner at the 2:19 mark
Thank you, well done.
Peut-être que si tu mettais la même quantité dans les pots le test serait plus juste !!
Formula shell did good
That Castrol is scary lol
Issa Nesheiwat
Glad im not the only one thinking that. Lmao
Its like molasses
Castrol is overrated, not good in cold environments. Last thing I'd put in my vehicles.
@@mikem6280 I would use the Castrol as a summertime oil, but Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in the winter.
@@mikem6280 Castrol is great. If you don't live in temps below 0 you are fine
Tu compares de la 0w20 avec de la 5w30 ??
Denatured alcohol pours even quicker so I use that instead of oil.
Now do Havoline, Pennzoil, STP & Castrol Edge
the castrol extperf won
do a 0w test
Thanks
