Moving through the thresholds of interior and exterior, room and garden, compressed and released space, the film presents a walk-through of 4 Morley Road, reconstructing the spatial atmosphere of the house that cannot be easily felt through photographs. Throughout the film, there is a play with concealment and reveal of views. The film starts from the main gate, moving through the inner courtyard, and into the house, weaving through the living, dining, and lounge, before exiting at the garden to reveal the whole architecture.
We would like to thank W Architects and the client for providing us this opportunity to collaborate on this project together.
The Film Corridor is a Singapore based film studio, open to collaboration with local architects and designers to work with, investigating into the relationship between architecture and videography.
