I wish I could buy some merch or join the channel! 😢 I'm hoping you get your goal though, I always like and share! I remember when you were just a little channel, before the camera crew! Exploring Crew!😂
Josh I have been following you on and off for a long time, I would like to congratulate you on this important piece of work. This documentary that you have produced is undoubtedly the best thing you have ever done and shows that you have graduated from a RUclips celebrity into a genuine journalist and a high quality one at that. Brilliant work, just awesome! Looking forward to see what Colin produces from this trip. I certainly hope you continue to produce more work like this.
I am from Cleveland Josh and I have plenty family in Detroit. I remember the week that you were in Atlanta, around February or March and I missed you. I could have met you then!!
You really are my favorite RUclipsr because you came to speak with my community in Detroit. It’s like a second home to my people. You are a dope guy!! ❤
soooo like how would somebodiey b able ta come in and join in on tha restorein these places???????
This is probably one of my favourite abandoned history videos you’ve done, because it’s a story of hope
Glad to be apart of this thanks for pulling up.
Reach out to sonnie johnson - she is extremely focused on sharing building black communities back up and I know she would love to hear about your work (if you haven't already!).
And good luck to your purchases - Gov better support you and give you zero issues. I would love to see this city come back.
I love what you're doing. Especially showing young men how to carry legally. Men need men to show them the way IMO! 👍
Love what you're doing brother keep up the good work
I live about 20 minutes from detroit and I respect what u are doing.
You are doing great, and I hope you succeed!
Josh huge respect for where you’ve grown your channel and expanded! Touching down with real stories from real people is testament to the work you put in and the genuine content you strive for! Keep it up man
He keeps out doing himself!
Thum up Josh getting out of your comfort zone. We need our neighbors hoods built back up.❤
Sadly Detroit was given up on. It’s awesome to see people putting in effort to bring it back to life.
It deserves to be taken care of again.
@@AngelaMerici12 it really, really does.
Detroits population is growing
Only 1800 people
@@wmurray23progress is still progress
Good luck to Tray! I hope Detroit gets better. What we really need to do is drown hatred with love. Come together and just knock out the hate.
Im from Michigan, you did an excellent job with this video. I appreciate that
All content you film, whether it be this style of video, ghost or abandoned you do it with respect. This was honestly fantastic and I hope you’re proud with what you managed to put out for us. You made this about the community & I love that so much. Continually stepping out and stepping up! Definitely looking forward to the next two episodes. Well done Josh 🔥
Hi Claire! 👋. I hope you are doing well and that you are having a great Greece vacation. I am heading to the beach this weekend. I am excited for that. Big love and hugs. 🤗 💖
@@michaelgrzesik9772 hi Michael! I’m now back from Greece and had an amazing time. Hope you enjoyed the beach, it’s always nice to clear the cobwebs. Big love and hugs 🥰
Loved this Josh. So great to see the community getting together to re build Detroit. Looking forward to the next one.
Lol. Nothing is getting rebuilt.
Josh.. This is one of the most worthy pieces that you have done. Keep expanding. Keep learning. Keep teaching.
so nice to see Colin & Conner with you Josh😊💜💗💜💗💜
This is a whole new side of Josh's exploring, and I love it! It just shows how versatile he is - he can truly do anything! And Detroit? Wow! It's stunning! So much potential, beautiful houses, and from what I can see, the people there seem incredibly kind too. Trey, you're doing such amazing work in Detroit. It's truly inspiring. Here's hoping someone with the power to make a real difference sees this and helps you restore this beautiful city. You've got my respect, Trey! ✨
It's a really good change of pace to see a video like this. You're very personable & genuine. People gravitate towards good people like you. Enjoying everything you've been putting out lately
THIS IS REFRESHING 🎉 WE NEED TO SHARE OUR STORIES AND TALK TO EACH OTHER AGAIN❤
I so agree! Human to human interaction is non existant
Absolutely ❤
I think you did a great job on this video Josh in bringing a little reality into why some things are abandoned.
A person always wonders why a place is abandoned. You wonder what the history was regarding it & dont always know what happened to make a place abandoned.
In this video u get to learn a little about some of the history of these abandoned homes & areas straight from the people who lived it as to why. It's reality. It's life...& it isn't always pretty. I think u did a good job of what u could to portray not just the history of these abandoned homes & areas...but of peoples lives.
This was very interesting & informative Josh. Maybe it'll bring out the compassion & love in people & a sense of giving of ourselves to help others & make this world a better place.
God bless u Josh & Colin.
Great job & stay safe.
Love u guys ❤
Great work Josh (and team) for shedding light on Detroit's lowest economical communities and introducing us to Tray and his Mumma.
This was a powerful abandoned exploration!!
Ever since you released the preview of this video I've been pretty excited to see it looks like you did a lot of really cool interviewing and great work right on man I'm watching it now 🤟🤟🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@ExploringWithJosh also luckily they are keeping the Fisher body plant they're turning it into apartments at least that's the article I looked at but I hope they don't tear it down I've been following that for years
As a subscriber to you, and someone who lives in one of the Suburbs of Detroit, Thank You for shinning light on our City!!!! This video was so cool to watch!
I love everything about this video! Josh is the only one putting out content like this. Going into the community and speaking to the local folks, letting them speak the truth.
Thank you, Josh!
Sweet. Happy Sunday. Thanks Josh for the videos!
Much respect to you for doing this! I love people who have the amount of subscribers like you that use their big platforms for things like this. Thank you for taking the time and being respectful like always in this series. Continued positivity being sent from Minnesota.
Loved this bro! This was dope seeing you be part of the community and doing a hood vlog this was really good content.
The problem is that nobody wants to start a business in a hood. Without businesses and real estate development, these people will never lift out of poverty.
Oh? Why won't they start a business in a hood?
@@mattmarzula Probably because of the high crime. 🤷♀️
@@mattmarzulathat's a rhetorical question. It's due to crime from the people of the area lmfao😂 gonna be nothing but shootings and theft left and right .... no thanks.
@@mattmarzulaBecause too many people rob them.
@mattmarzula Until they change the culture of stealin and Killin people won't want to start a business or invest I think that's the one thing that tre dude is doing wrong he needs the help change the mindset that you just take what you need/want.
Now that’s some real abandon
So so glad you did this Josh , I live in Ohio and a lot of my friends are Michiganders!
It is so important that you get this information out to the rest of the world. There are plenty of houses that can be renovated. People need a place to live. Hard work and skilled labor. Power to the people. Just believe. God is with you.
thanks GM for outsourcing your car manufacturing to mexico and china
How is this relevant?
Before that it was lower quality than Japan. When they had money they made the same cars over and over. Holding back their brands for certain dumbass reasons. Nothing could be better than the Vette or a Cadillac. When some people would like a fast Pontiac or Buick, or Olds.
@@feedsyoutube The reason for adetroit's downfall. Detroit was auto manufacturing.
Exactly. Lower pay, higher profit margin. 😉
@@pgtmr2713it's due to the culture of the people there lmfao. I live in a city that had a gm plant leave within the last 20 year and it's still booming here.
I like that u came to da city to show to r struggle. Detroit most definitely is a forgotten city. We most definitely appreciate u come out here
This is wild! Keep up the great work, Josh! 🖤
I love that you use your platform to reach others, share their stories and experiences, and allow them to get their message out through you.
Great work Josh!
Josh, im so proud of you my dude! This is the documentary that you needed to really showcase your talent for journalism and man did you knock it out the park! Great work my friend!!
Josh you are absolutely KILLING IT! Realist creator in the game right now 🙌🏽
The fact that both you and Colin were in Michigan 🎉❤ you guys are my absolute favorites 😊if you ever can try and make it Muskegon, If you can get past all the bad hoods we have , you will instantly fall in love with our Lake. ❤ hope you got to see more of the beautiful State of Michigan
This one of the best video that I've seen you produce. Keep it up
I love when you mix it up , and don’t put out the same old videos over and over
First off I’ve watched you since 2016. I actually love this video! I want to see more of it all over. I’m from Indiana and hear about these places and never know how to feel but being able to see it through you guys is amazing. It really does give you an understanding that it’s just like most places in this world now sadly. I just started watching other peoples videos about different areas and gang activity. Also the difference tray is making is huge and hope the city and community can help get the word spread and they see change! They’re never this long and as in depth and I love it. Also had no clue you knew Collin I just started watching his videos a couple months ago! Can’t wait for the next video and hope to see more videos like this!
I started following 8 years ago and recently came back. I can’t believe how far this channel has come! Amazing work!!
More of this content! As long as you are safe! 😊
It's going to take more than just 1 person to rebuild but he's got the right idea rebuild Detroit more than a dream
This was an excellent "documentary" looking into the lives within the Detroit suburb. As a social worker, I truly enjoyed you working directly with local residents, in addition to introducing the "Buy the Block" program. This was truly inspiring because most of us come from very small towns/suburbs outside of cities and returning to these places we call home and having someone listen, advocate, and begin to document the reality in the communities which are far different to the local residents' views than the medic portrays. I believe you have found a spinoff to your channel to begin becoming more of a humanitarian and advocate for the areas that are again, portrayed, as high-crime and gang-heavy areas. There are still residents, families, neighbors, and friends that still live in the neighborhoods that can tell you many stories about the comradery and familial community they continue to have regardless of the negative portrayal from the media. I really enjoyed this video and hope you continue to meet and collaborate with residents of marginalized communities. Well done! Now following Tray Little and his efforts to improve, renovate, and build-up his neighborhood to better the lives of everyone there, in addition to bringing in additional residents to expand their economy.
I couldn't have said it better Carrie 👏 ❤!!
Hi Josh, it's awesome to see what Tray is doing, I hope your video helps him and the rest of the community get recognition so they can build a better life...everyone deserves that. Thanks for sharing and much love from New Zealand x
I love this Video Josh. ❤thanks for taking us along.
Seeing you go and sharing their stories is beautiful. I genuinely hope that they’re all doing the best that they can be. I hope they can achieve their goal!
Watching this video now…only about 20 minutes in but loving part 1 of the series! Thanks for all your hard work and so cool to see you interviewing people and hearing their stories. Loving the variety of content ❤
Some of those houses are beautiful!
I’ve been watching for years Josh and as someone from Detroit let me just say how much this means to us. ❤ thank you Josh, and everyone involved!
I really like these types of videos! A lot of these abandoned houses are architecturally stunning, and it’s so sad to see them sitting empty and falling apart. I love what Tray is doing for the city, and I know he’s inspiring others to do their part to help, too! ✌️💚
Wow just wow THAT hit me in the feels...damn trey is the MVP of Detroit for sure.
Josh, I love this content! Being born and raised in Detroit and seeing you really in the gritty is great! You definitely should keep documenting Detroit gets no lime light ever.
Love this Josh! Kudos man!
Josh, carry on with these explorations, amazing, from Cape Town, South Africa
This was amazing to see, Josh chillin with the community trying to learn their story
Amazing video and much love to Tray for saving the block.Loved hearing the memories and his mom.
I’m from just outside of Detroit and my heart has always belonged to the city and all the beautiful people within it. This video brought so much joy to my heart. The city of Detroit is so much more than what you see from the outside. Thank you for this amazing content! Mad respect to you (and crew) for shedding some light onto the real Detroit.
Crazy to see this! My grandma grew up in Hamtramck and used to work at Packard. She said she was one of the few women that first started to work there. Now, my grandma is 92 and still reminisces of the great memories she had growing up in Detroit! She said everyone was family, even though most people were Polish and Italian back in the day, and didn’t speak the same language. She said the kids would go to Knapps and get donuts on Halloween. I will be showing her this video 🩵
I love that you are doing this again Josh! Much love from Norway 🇧🇻🥰
You can really see you work hard on this episode. I cant wait for the rest of it. Well done Josh. Thank you for talking to the people that wants to be heard and also deserved to be heard. I really hope the only way is up for this neighborhood.
Love this type of content! Please keep it up❣️ Great video 👍🏽 Thanks Josh💞
This was really great!! I really enjoyed who you interviewed there.
Love this series already! Can't wait for the next part 🔥
I would love to see more videos like this in the future.
Just to see how far you've come and grown is incredible!
Keep up the amazing work ❤
Always makes my day to see a video from you thanks for all the epic contents keep up the good work be safe out there much love
Amazing video man! Love seeing people like Tray return to their roots and help out those in their community.
I really feel like things will look up as long as he keeps doing what he is doing. It's sad that plant is getting demolished. Such a waste and all part of the history of Detroit. Awesome video man 🙌
Hi Josh, now if the whole world were to act and be as friendly as that hood then we would have no problems with anything, fact. Big respect to Trey, we all need people like him in our area's. Dang I remember when you explored that auto factory. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx
Yeah I would hang out occasionally in a notoriously very bad neighborhood. (I'm a white girl who would have no problems). But there were news reports all the time about drive-bys and murders. It's always a different story at night. 🤷♀️
I really like this video. It could be on hulu or Netflix. I love how you are telling an important story about people. It shows how we are all human no matter our skin color or beliefs, just the human side of things. Can't wait for the next one episodes
love this kinda content bro. love all your content no matter what you post josh. ur good at what ya do. im happy that you filmed in that city and we has viewers got to see what it really is like. its gonna be bloom better in the future and people will see it.
Your channel has certainly grown over the years and for the better love the content you are giving.

Ive lived in Detroit 35 + years & never knew there was a red zone
Fantastic content Josh 👏🏽 thank you ❤
I just want to say how happy it makes me that you’re humanizing Detroit. It’s a beautiful city with such a rich history. Go you.
I’ve been catching up on your page today, and I love the route you’re taking these days! Don’t get me wrong I don’t want abandoned videos or the ghost hunting videos to disappear but I loved this and the documentary you guys made!
I live in Michigan and this was so inspiring. I loved it. Thank you Josh!✌🏽✌️✌🏾

I am from Detroit, much respect for this video. A lot of people perceive Detroit as danger and violence, Detroit is beyond beautiful and has so much history. So glad people are trying to build the city back!

This is a great video! Add this type of video into the mix!
Another amazing video josh, It is great to have you back and it would be incredible if you could help rebuild some of the houses in the Detroit area and restore them in to beautiful homes again. Keep up the amazing work Josh you are an inspiration to many people including myself.
Love this new type of video from you
What actually destroyed Detroit was the riots. Before that there was a thriving downtown it was safe for everyone to go visit and the people that lived here thrived. The city was never the same after that
amazing video loved this side of you keep it up!
You did a grrrreat job on this Josh!!!!
Incredible documentary Josh so well done definitely do more of this ❤️🤘🏼
great video josh i wish them all well . very informative and interesting
