    • @jaizjeeson2180
      @jaizjeeson2180 3 года назад

      Well, honestly Rublev's forehand wasn't this good before. It was powerful for sure, but not this level. He switched to a goddamn heavy racket, which gives him an insane amount of weight behind his swings. That's the reason for his increased power.

    Rublev's ability to easily hit with so much power reminds me of Berdych in his prime. Effortless technique and insane average ball speed. Amazing.

    • @dl3988
      @dl3988 2 года назад +3

      True, but I would say Sinner reminds me even more of Berdych in some ways. They even sort of look alike! When Berdych had his game going, he could hit anyone off the court. I'll never forget the time he blew out Delpo in Tokyo.

    • @davidag90
      @davidag90 Год назад +1

      @@dl3988 I never saw this comment. Sinner (and even Rublev) seems to me have a loose technique. Berdych's strokes were more about great ball contact and optimal swing. Anyway, regarding playstyle, is easy to see the similarities.

    27 seconds into a warm up Ruble is hitting 80 mph winners, Welcome to my world and get used to it.
    Alcaraz looks like the real deal, amazing at 17, young Rafa like composure and power.
    Rublev is must see TV. So unique in his fire power.

    Funny, when just hitting it seems Rublev is blowing Alcaraz off court, but when they play games Alcaraz starts moving Rublev around, and wins most of the points.

    How's a skinny guy like Rublev hit the ball that hard all the time and not get injured?
