You should always use a basket with loose weaving when collecting edible mushrooms, so when you are carrying it around it distributes spores in the forest.
@@smokinfishin1115 It's not so much about running out, its about propagating the species you enjoy, so they are easier to find, and in higher numbers. Also remember thats the whole job of the mushroom is to spread the spores. If you gonna eat it at least help it out a bit.
My grandma did morel mushrooms..had her own plot. Would go with her in Oregon. Bring them back to Idaho. Sell them by the 1/8 pound. Made BANK. she gave me quite the cut from the profit. She also had a big claim of huckleberries. I got a cut of that too.
