Now all we need is a bunch of permanent devices with high gain antennas installed along all our highways so we know where the speedtraps are without even needing a radar detector. It would also be useful if Waze could use BLE to detect these signals and upload police locations to their map automatically.
As I was watching this I thought of something similar, but mobile. Forget a radar/laser detector while driving - you could have your high gain BLE setup detect cops with some directionality and distance. No more "Is that a Ford Explorer or a Cop?"
There was a story in my city of a particular cop that a lot of people had bad run ins with. A cop tracking database would be so helpful in identifying and locating these bad actors and allowing people to avoid them.
There are so many fun and strange manufacturers in the OUI database, one of my APs shows up as "Space and Naval Warfare Systems", still wait for some 3letter-guys to knock one day :D
Get up with me I am wondering on something..UofL Law (Go Cards and Sluggers). Hey, does the sibling...still have the massive atlas statue in front of her restaurant. It's been s long time I live in Switzerland.
Oh yeah. Just go to the Wigle map on the site, enter the lat/long for the area and the AXON mac portion (if it lets you do partial searches) and select the date. It'll show just how many of those devices were seen by Wigle users at the Great Guided Tour.

As cheesy as it was, I like the various Hackers references, all the way down to the title of this talk.
Cheesy? Hackers is a cinematic masterpiece! "Theyre trashing our rights!"

it's insane that he can't demo something utilising information that is in the public domain, when did Defcon sellout
Interesting seeing the differences in policing tech compared to my home country (note: i am not a police)
Null agent 🎉🔥🔥🔥
I bought an electromagnetic radiation meter and realized my computer still emits a lot of signals event if I turn the devices off. This is annoying.
COVID19 tracking data got turned off in my states last month. Totally disabled AFAIK.

They were off duty and participating as private citizens. Try BLM and you'll find more undercover "inciters"
