For those that are angry about the Karnataka issue. We respect that you want to save your language and culture. Preserving your culture, language and customs starts with you. You can save your language being anywhere in the whole world. I feel the people from Karnataka are not expressing their concerns correctly. It is the concept of gentrification and not trying to destroy the culture. When it comes to gentrification, it’s a concern with a lot of cultures and languages now. Me being from Hyderabad have been seeing this since childhood. Your language and customs evolve with time; the language we speak today has also evolved with an amalgamation of other languages over time. This doesn’t mean we need to completely abandon our language. We need to embrace it as closely as possible and try to be open for other languages and customs too. We may not like other languages or cultures but we need to accept that they are different which doesn’t necessitate the hate. Try to look at it this way, now that people of Karnataka are realising that they are getting gentrified you all came together to protect your culture. You would embrace your language even closer now in trying to protect it. Personally that is what I have done when I went to the US. The best example is this channel. Her parents might have been from a different part of the country, but they embraced Hyderabadi culture and language, and still would have protected their customs. The very fact that this channel has such an audience is the reason that she tries to pronounce the difficult words and people love her for trying.

For those that are angry about the Karnataka issue. We respect that you want to save your language and culture. Preserving your culture, language and customs starts with you. You can save your language being anywhere in the whole world. I feel the people from Karnataka are not expressing their concerns correctly. It is the concept of gentrification and not trying to destroy the culture. When it comes to gentrification, it’s a concern with a lot of cultures and languages now. Me being from Hyderabad have been seeing this since childhood. Your language and customs evolve with time; the language we speak today has also evolved with an amalgamation of other languages over time. This doesn’t mean we need to completely abandon our language. We need to embrace it as closely as possible and try to be open for other languages and customs too. We may not like other languages or cultures but we need to accept that they are different which doesn’t necessitate the hate. Try to look at it this way, now that people of Karnataka are realising that they are getting gentrified you all came together to protect your culture. You would embrace your language even closer now in trying to protect it. Personally that is what I have done when I went to the US. The best example is this channel. Her parents might have been from a different part of the country, but they embraced Hyderabadi culture and language, and still would have protected their customs. The very fact that this channel has such an audience is the reason that she tries to pronounce the difficult words and people love her for trying.
