Hey, just some advice from a Keeper channel to another Keeper channel. 😉 So...just wanted to let you know, but Keeper of the Lost Cities is not in the public domain currently, and reproduction of the book in any form, including audio, is considered copyright. We did a lot of research on this because we had an audiobook too with our mom reading it. But basically, you are constantly in risk of copyright infringement. You are copyrighting this book, stealing Shannon’s words, so if Shannon or her team or even her publishing company see this, they will most likely report these videos for infringing on their works. And if you do plan to monetize when you hit the requirements like us, and Shannon hasn’t submitted a copyright claim yet, these videos won’t be able to monetize since they don’t abide by RUclips’s policies. So whereas your main source of attention is from these chapters, you won’t be able to make a cent off of it. We are slowly deleting our chapters off of our channel and everything like that, because we aren’t trying to risk copyright strikes, because 3 and your channel is terminated. So that was our warning to you, if you don’t have permission to reproduce this book, don’t. It’s a scary risk that we just aren’t willing to take, as we slowly increase in popularity in the KotLC community. But yes, I urge you to do some research on this topic as well and find out for yourself that this is not legal. Just search up. “Can I read a book on yt?” There you go! We here love your videos!
