2:15 these wide gaps are inspired by ninirust right? She 'invented' them few months ago. Its a cheap and easy way to widegap every base without build outs
If I knew I would have credit them, Rust building mechanics get copied so much the original designer doesn’t get the credit they deserve. I got them from Builders Sanctuary peek island.

Love all your videos always give me good idea Just want to share this So I jump on a solo village server with 10 solo friends in our village They all made big flashy bases and I made my flat Super un raidable base So the whole village got raided but they came to my base last I waited in my core room since I didn’t get the chance to finish my shooting floor but at least I finished my god bunker lol So I started counting all the boom they used over 6 minutes of raiding they used 75 explosions then it went dead 12 minutes later they came back with more boom it went another 3 minutes I counted 45 more explosions than it went dead for 30 minutes I opened my bunker up and went out they barely managed to break one of the layers of my god bunker design So my bunker is very expensive if I wasn’t a farmer I could not play in this bunker unless I had a team of 4 players It’s a total of 1500 HQM and 300 per day of upkeep It consists of 6 turrets full 360 round view and 1 in the core plus a total of 22 shotguns traps and 3 flame traps 5 HQM Doors and 20 G doors The bunker is a ramp style but a circle bunker core enough room for 12 lrg boxes and 6 E furance plus T3 and research table all in the core with locker and bed and lrg battery Now the design side walls all HQM roof too floor no just stone Next the 1st layer of Honey comb all metal then the 2 nd layer of honey comb all HQM the the 3rd layer is all roof ramps in HQM Now the 2nd floor is not a floor at all it’s all HQm with pancakes all in metal and the squares are placed with HQM ramps and then a roof floor all metal to the 3 rd floor just stone and no more honeycomb just a lv 1 loot room and work area Next the 4th floor which I didn’t get done . But that would be the shooting floor Anyway I tested this base on 3 live severs and still the raiders run out of boom never even coming close to my TC. Core bunker. I’m thinking of doing a video on it but I don’t want to show that we’re the TC is placed And it’s not even placed against a wall like everyone else base is lol infact my TC is in a triangle design for 10 to 15 boom just to break in
Do the video, definitely do the video but bear in mind that not everyone is a farm bot like we are (yes I am one too) so only use the HQM in the areas its needed otherwise people won’t watch it.
@@Dukeofboots1 do it! Also, I wouldn't say it's "mine". I mean I figured it out in a vacuum on my own, but I'm sure someone else, like one of The Greats (as in epic Rust builders), has probably come up with similar ideas. Happy to help collab on something if you need a thought partner :)
Mate I’ve tried, the problem is you have to be really exact when starting it so it’s really hard to do a video on one. Like if you get the first foundation wrong then the rest of the base won’t work. Maybe some kind of terrain bunker could work where anyone can do it. 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
Providing the grill isn’t in place it should go down, it may be a bit fiddly (I have no clip when building) try and approach it from another angle. Rust building mechanisms are a bit all over the place atm with “anti hack” and “line of sight” appearing alot

Yeah the 2 x 2 is a little costly especially for a solo. It’s why I rarely use the footprint. Much better for Trio + size groups

I Can’t build the triangle roof cos it’s blocked by triangle floor frame ?

Anyway you can redesign the mini shell base for a trio love the base but when my friends hope on it’s really cramped and I’m not sure how to expand it
That will be my next video, the core will still be small but the base itself a lot bigger, with outside shooting floor. 😁
