I am a new nursing student, and I needed to hear Anne's story. I immediately questioned her for refusing to go anywhere, but Saint George's, and assumed she was being stubborn. But no, she has medical trauma and needs special care. It opened my eyes to how even something that may seem tiny to me, has a huge impact on my patient. I have a lot left to learn, clearly
I had wonderful nursing instructors, I graduated in 1979, lol. But the floor nurses were often horrible. Rather than give us interesting patients we could learn from, we were giving ones who needed nursing homes, basic care and toileting. So glad to be done with them, and I never treated students like that. Good luck, and stick up for yourself.
Sally is a wonderful teacher, and you can tell she is fully in her element teaching the real-life, practical application of nursing to those students. I wish every profession had someone as engaged as her to teach newbies!
Betty reminds me so much of my mother. They would have been the best of friends with their silly attitudes. Gosh, I miss my mother so much! It's been 34 years and the grief still hasn't gone away nor will it ever.
22:38 David is spot on - you can get quite a rush when climbing and mountaineering, and although it is potentially hazardous, if you have the training and the kit, it is a wonderful experience.
So sad for Anne. To be pushed away your whole life from love. Sally your a trooper
What horrid parents put an 11yr old child in a lunatic asylum? Thats a tragedy, so glad she’s happy now! God bless her ❤❤❤❤ from South Africa 🇿🇦

Horrific story of the poor woman who was shipped away to school at 3 and in a mental institution from 11 to 31…
Actually, she said age 11 to 41! That’s horrendous!!!
