As an Image and Color Specialist for 30 years, Im happy to see people are becoming interested in colors for their skintone. I do not agree with all the color combinations with beige presented in this video. Yet I'd like to thank you for bringing color in a wardrobe can bring out the beauty a person already have.
Maybe the tone is too warm (yellowish) for you? Have you tried a softer light beige? Or winterwhite (marshmellow). Blue can also be tricky. I (summertype) look great in cobolt and denim but not navy. Good luck.
Beige is not a complimentary color for the face, for the majority of us. It makes my skin looks dull. But in general, I still like it, just trying not to wear it close to my face. With beige blazer, I’d wear white or black top under it. Beige looks great with many shades of wine and burgundy, caramel, chocolate, khaki, sage, some shades of pale pink, and many others. There are lots of details one should take to account, while wearing beige and all its shades.
Beige and white. White near your face. Beige on the bottom away from your face. If you have a warm color complexion, then go for it. If you have a cool color complexion wear the cool color near your face.

I realize I have incorporated a lot more beige into my wardrobe. I tend to brighten it with white or sometimes black or yellow, depending if it's day or night time wear.
Beige is the staple colour in my wardrobe. So easy to pair with other colours and always looks elegant. A pair of beige slacks or chinos with a beige or white cashmere jumper or a silk or cotton blouse, a pearl necklace or golden chain and earrings for a daily casual look - voilà so chick! 👍🏻😅

I literally clicked on this guessing the “almost right color” I guessed khaki, but I guess that’s a shade of beige.
