I constantly fall into your healer when I go as my secondary character (twink) into the chaos arena. Tell him that I recognize him even in his ram candy. I hate it =*

      @@natsudragnell9922 It's mostly a Support/CC type of class.
In PvP & PvE you are expected to provide buffs, help with DPS as well as heal when needed (especially if you have the cast speed buff up).
Also in group PvP you are expected to frequently use Hallowed strike on a target (physical one), throw stuns to waste RS of a target or temporarily CC them or even harasse clerics while your teammates focus burst a target.
It's a very versatile class and if played properly you will never get bored.
What's even better, with the upcoming patches on Aion Classic, the content focuses heavy on group PvPvE and chanters with their updated skills are a must for every competitive group.

@@natsudragnell9922 Get Tac chain set and cloth gloves (cast speed) socket them with hp and you will be able to do all end-game PvE content.
You can get 100% free e40 abyss set by doing Dredgion (repeatable 5x quest) - get the chain and make it block. Tac shield +10 is a good starter block shield and relatively cheap to enchant.
For beginner dps weapon for PvE - get Tac staff and fuse it with Tahabata - you can get tahabata staff from Tempus by getting S rank 7 times - the boss box contains a taha crystal which you then combine and you get a tahabata weapon selection box.
If you have received a free e50 weapon from the surveys (was for chars 1-50 during the event) save it for a fuse for your triroan extend.
For godstones - silence is a must (use one on your extend). For your main dmg weapon you can pick silence/blind or DMG godstone (my perferred one).
For sockets - aim for 650 crit in PvE and around 850+- for PvP fully buffed. Rest goes into attack.
Hope this helps a bit ^^
