This is why I use Raptors for all my ARs. I'm a lefty and charge with my Rt hand. I love Geissele's stuff though. If the Rt side were a little larger to help clear the charging handle, I'd check it out.

The Raptor is a medium size preferred by Professional Shooters so the left side don’t poke you in the chest when carrying in a sling. The right side is larger to clear the forward assist. Excellent engineering by Rainier Arms
James Shaffer that is exactly right. Geissele made their SCH too large and it hangs up on plate carriers and such whereas the Radian does not. (I have both) Geissele even knows they’re too big and came out with the ACH. I love all things Geissele, but I’ll stick to my Radian charging handles and safety selectors.

I went to their factory and bought a trigger , which they installed and I must say it’s a very clean shop , Bill and his wife were very nice people . I was given a lot swag when I got the trigger .
Mr. Geissele is the Leonardo DeVinci of AR parts IMO. I've looked at many of his parts. He spares nothing in the R&D part of his work, he spares nothing in his tolerances,craftsmanship, and his CNC machinist skills are unsurpassed as far as I'm concerned. His parts are as tough as they are a beautiful sight to behold. The sister company ALG Defense is just as good IMO. Keep up the superior work Mr. Geissele ! USA-1

This thing absolutely works well With blocking gas blowback. Used it on my suppressed 300 BO. Buying a new one for my new custom Windam 556 SRC. (Has an integrated lip)
I got my very first geissele trigger when they had their cyber Monday sale. Went with the SSAE and kinda-sorta regret it. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the best 2 stage triggers I've ever used but it's WAYYYY too light. I wish I went with the ssa instead. I wish there was something I could do to the SSAE to maybe heavy it up.
The primary market for ambi charging handles are for left handed shooters, period. Now as far as I know the ONLY charging handle to take into account left handed shooters is the Raptor since the right side is intentionally made larger to clear BUIS and forward assists. To say that such a thing is a con only means you know nothing on the product.
good review. ive retired my AXTS/Radian raptor and BCM 4×4 for the Griffin Armament SN-ACH ambi charging handle. i LOVE it ! its big, beefy, extremely strong and overbuilt with its large handles and huge shouldered screws instead of little roll pins. its extremely easy to find and super positive and smooth in use. its become my main #1 ! if you need an ambi charging handle and like big and beefy, give the GA SN-ACH a try. i think youll be impressed.
See a lot of parts to replace original design on ar 15 (m4 design), ok for competition or fun but not for the real combat scenario, as an armorer i see a lot of problems with aftermarket, ( those ears will hang up on webbing and brush), its turning a combat design into a race gun, its apples and oranges. The sights are as far back as possible. It's a AR 15 pistol with a 7.5 barrel length. If you check out some of my other videos you will get a better look at the gun.

Has anyone used this suppressed? The only reason to spend the money after having a raptor is for suppressor lip on the Geissele handle. But nobody seems to review that. I had ton of gas in face and eyes with raptor I just got Griffin sn-ach but forgot about the Geissele. If I am not happy with the Griffin I will get the Geissele and I will do the suppressor handle review. This trial and error shit is a waste nobody should go through.

AXTS factory produces the SCH for Geissele. The only difference between the Raptors and SCH is the price. The SCH is $100-$130, and the Raptor is $80-$90.
Yes, $90 for a charging handle is ridiculous. Want to buy some good Geissele stuff?? Stick to their triggers and buffers/buffer springs. IMO, their handguards and charging handles are way overpriced. Want a nice, cheap, enhanced charging handle?? Buy an Anderson charging handle, $20-22. It is ambi, 7075 aluminum, works like a charm. Plenty of good handguards out there that sell for $150 or LESS.
Get a Bass Pro Credit card, you will rack up the points and use them to buy anything from firearms , ammo and fishing rods, I used 50$ in points to get this handle without breaking the bank.
It's funny. My charging handle on my smith &I Wesson is a 'mil spec' and it's not even military spec. I took a class and had a crapload of problems. They switched out my charging handle with one of these and I was like 'holy shit. I need one'
You REALLY need to update this video and explain the Raptor is actually the one charging handle that took left handed shooters into consideration, not Geissele. I've already read two people who said they bought this charging handled instead of the Raptor based on your review. If they're left handed they made that choice based solely on your inaccurate review, which with all your Geissele stickers and fanboy decor maybe that was your intention all along(hopefully not though).

blueknight I like ambi charging handles because I like that it hooks into your hand/finger and won’t slip off when charging with only one side. The milspec one I always slipped off. Plus for me the ambi handles are smoother because the latch is released before you put any pressure on the bolt carrier
Geisselle is just too much $$. EVERYTHING they have is quality but WAY over priced. I use CMC triggers and I’ve shot geisselles b4 but I like the CMC Better and it’s a fraction of the cost. The raptor charging handle is just as good ,again at half the cost. What really alienated me away from Geisselle was the scope mounts. A.D wanted 120 for there’s and I bought it and it’s beautiful and works great. Geisselle wanted 250 STARTING and that’s a rip off. If I was a millionaire I wouldn’t think nothing of buying there stuff because it is good. But the quality comes NOWHERE near what they cost. That’s only my opinion. Now they had these on sale TODAY for 75 SHIPPED at Brownells so that is not bad and I ordered one. I have a suppressed 300 blackout SBR and the one I bought was supposed to reduce blowback due to suppression but I had no problem With it before I bought the handle. While it was all purchased at "Black Friday Sale price", it still shows that if you bid your time, wait for the big sale, you can still get top quality AR parts at @ 1/2 the regular price. if you knew how much CNC machining and knowledge of metallurgy is required to do this kind of work and that goes into Geissele parts, you might understand it better. I've worked in several machine shops, so I "get where he's coming from" when he designs and machines these top tier AR parts. To be #1 requires more work, better machines and great skill and knowledge. And great employees.
I bought an ambi charging handle at my local gun show EXACTLY like the Raptor without the markings for $30. This past month I've seen others selling them for $40 except that they are putting their company names on them. I am so glad that I didn't buy a Raptor one because I bought 3 for the price of what it would have cost me to get 1 Raptor.
