    Your margins seem massive Simon? For example £29.77 you’re buying at £3? Do you have a set business model?

      Hi thanks for watching, yes I try my best to pick up items that will have as close to a £15 profit margin, doesn’t alway happen but that what I aim for, hope you have a great day, Simon

    How do you keep track of taxes and byeing /selling priced etc do you write down /log every single item?

      Hi, thanks for the message and I appreciate you watching. I personally use QuickBooks for all my transactions. I then let my accountant go into this and they work out what tax I need to pay, hope that makes sense
      Hope you have a great day Simon

    Bloody hell Simon, I'm worn out just watching, good haul though, does your average cost per item determine your selling price?.

    Its strange Tommy is the organiser of the challenge. Surely he should not be part of the challenge

      Hiya, I’d responded to your comment on this on my channel so I won’t repeat my response here too. But take the Olympics as an example, just because Paris is hosting it this year, doesn’t mean that France is excluded from competing? 🤷‍♂️

      I think Tommy is doing a great job and I love his analogy about Paris. Totally agree.
      Thanks for watching

    Hugo Boss shirt £2? Charity shops need to up their game. Way too cheap. Feeding resellers with easy money…

    • @christinapither6963
      @christinapither6963 2 месяца назад +2

      Hardly. They received it for free and are making money. All the charity shops that price Boss shirts at £15 simply don’t sell them. Not a big enough audience. The charity shops that sell cheap and turn over fast are the most successful.

    • @christinapither6963
      @christinapither6963 2 месяца назад +4

      Also, hardly easy money is it? The time, the petrol, the washing and prepping clothes then photographing, listing, packing, dropping off, all to lose two thirds of your sale price in tax and fees….not what I’d call easy money.

      @@christinapither6963 £2???? Ridiculous unless Simon is going to sell it for £2? Charity Shops are not there to feed resellers…

    • @christinapither6963
      @christinapither6963 2 месяца назад +2

      @@djme-123 charity shops are there to make money for their charity. They do that by receiving things for free and selling them. If they price too high no one buys the stuff because they don’t have the audience that eBay does. I know several charity shops that priced their stuff ridiculously high and sold nothing and closed down. What’s the point in that.

      @@djme-123 resellers keep a lot of charity shops in business, I think you’ll find. We go in and spend £50 and make room on their shelves for more stuff, unlike Mr Bloggs down the road who mooches round the shop for half an hour and buys one 50p book
