Prodigy, Choker, Aim God: How TenZ Found New Life in Valorant
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 26 сен 2024
- Tyson “TenZ” Ngo was supposed to be CS:GO’s next great prodigy.
He was young, explosive, and boasted some of the nastiest aim the game had ever seen.
But, as soon as he got his first big break, he did the one thing that no prodigy can afford to do: he choked. Hard.
And then, out of nowhere, just as people were writing him off, TenZ was given a second chance to fulfil his destiny.
Whereas most saw VALORANT as a cartoony clone of CS:GO, TenZ was among several who saw it for what it could be: a second chance. A place where those who’d been left by the wayside in Counter-Strike could find new life.

Yeah TenZ and s0m were trying to be like stew but they didn't pan out. Pugs are trash and there is absolutely no team play at all and everyone cares about getting high RWS every game by playing overly aggressive for kills.
@@viztrix5526 while I agree with you, pretty much the only way to be noticed is to be aggressive and get many clips etc. Hard to be a support player and get picked up.

He isn't gifted mechanical talent , he grinded hard to make his aim more than perfect
we are machines, and as a machine u can become better than everyone just by training... than it depends...
That's true bro. I don't know why people say the players are gifted some sort of sh*t just because they have perfect aim or game. It just take practice, practice and forever practice.....that's it...
@@rack0001 It does take talent. Someone with less talent than him can practice more and never achieve even a fraction of what he did. Every sport is 80% talent and 20% hardwork. Everyone on the top level works hard so when that's the norm talent is the only other determining factor of wether you succeed or not.
@@M4NOK how do you determine talent actually? when someone already on top? when someone grinding and working? how do you know someone working harder than others? do others work harder or simply more efficiently? there's a lot of grey area and the talent here is just one of the factor. also talent doesn't always comes from mechanic, but also mindset. you may have a talent in your aim, but do you have the talent in not giving up, not choking etc? it also take talents to work hard over and over because again, not everybody can nor want to do it

dude same! Honestly lost all respect for magisk. Like seriously? trashing on some kid for being good at something? That was a really unprofessional comment.
@@josh.c36 It's banter lol
its just banter, as someone else mentioned. plus, Tenz was really good aimer but he struggled in other ways, such as supporting his teammates and being a good team player for CS. those problems are not a problem in Valorant since he abilities, in general, are easier than the grenades in CS. plus, he plays Jett/duelist most of the time and he can just focus on fragging while his team supports him. you can't be just aim in CS as everyone can purchase the same amount of grenades, and if you are not good at them, then your team has less total grenades than the opponent

*Geico!*
TenZ no doubt in my mind was an insane aimer and a good CS player. His problem was he never experienced team play and when he finally got a chance with Cloud9. He didn’t perform for a few reasons but the main ones were team play vs pugs are way different. He said that the way they were playing didn’t fit his play style which I get but it’s a team game, a team effort. That’s why he didn’t have the success many thought because he didn’t adapt. With that being said though, as much as I wished to see him excel in CS being one of the top aimers in the world. I’m glad he found something in Valorant.
here after the Valorant Champions Tour and yes TenZ won the championship, undefeated in the whole tournament. He is more suited for Sentinels than cloud 9.
What about now...

The only reason why TenZ choked in CSGO tournaments is because he's playing in a different desk which ruins his muscle memory and now that he's playing valorant he has the environment to go all out because he's in the place where his muscle memories are basically in his house
