Yo straight up MC2 is prolly the best racing game ever created...nothing will ever come close to beating it...it's just a timeless classic and nolstalgia for many ppl lol
BLACKAAROW took the words right out my mouth me and and employee were talking about it at my old job it was crazy we were naming songs off it and listeing to them it has some really good music I think its better then nostalgia I think it's crafted very well to the point that it doesn't get old playing it I really love this game I was 9 when it came out
MC3 Remix is better in my opinion. Customizable cars. And not only that, but they're also REAL cars, not just fictional cars based off real ones like in GTA. Plus MC3 has more replayability. Still though, MC2 is hella good too.

get it on amazon :) the money is definetly worth it. i bought mc2 on steam for 3,49€. great deal for such an awesome game. even though the controller support is lacking.
Also, the manuals from this games are amazing, they tell u the story behind this game (what happens before the player starts) and the pictures and also the soundtrack is INCREDIBLE. The best of the best PS2 and rockstar games saga ever.

NFS Porsche, NFS Underground and Midnight Club 2 are the only racing games I actually played properly and completely all the way, got very fond memories of all 3. Tried many others since but never got into any of them, except maybe Forza Horizon 5 a bit.
This is the 2000s tuner style, those kids that call themselves tuners with their shitty blue skylines with golden rims don't know the perfect balance between a good looking and a good performing car
