The game has a glitch. When the opposing team is at the bottom goal you can get the goalie stuck on one of the uprights by skating back and forth behind the net. I used to play this game for hours on end running the score up. The trick is to get him to come out of the net real quick and then quickly go to the other side and score on basically a wide open net. It works best when you start on the right side. Once you figure out the timing of it. It’s all you want to do. Using the Penguins makes it completely unfair. Jeremy Roenick was also really good for using this trick as well.
Guys this looks good. Just out of preservation do you think nhl or fifa 95 was the best of An EA sports game? I know it's a different sport but on a gaming front etc.
Wow, I have never seen that version of the combo cartridge before. I thought all these sports games were standalone games. I will need to do some checking into this :)
@@NHL94Podcast There was quiet a few combo cartridge on the megadrive, I remember having one you got with the megadrive was 6 in one. Sonic 1, Colums, Streets of Rage, Sega Soccer, Revenge of Shinobi, Super Monaco GP. God the amount of time I played this is unreal. It was a real treat to get another cartridge. I think my next one was Jungle Book and I robbed Mortal Kombat 2 off my parents friends children. (They were robbers too so I didn't care).
Oh my god. This was my favorite game when I was a yrs old!

I don't know much about FIFA 95 but NHL 94 is simply amazing.
I remember this on the Sega Megadrive, if my memory serves me well there was this great game and a crappy American Football game in one cartridge.

@bh3905 Holy cow that 6 in 1 sounds incredible. I never knew that existed.
@@NHL94PodcastSeriously? Or are you messing. It came with all Sega Mega Drive 2's
@@bh3905 I never saw a Mega Drive 2. I am in North America and we got the Genesis. I don't think the second generation Genesis came with these carts.
Detroit isn't on the list for Christ's SAKE we're Original 6 what priority "list" do you have? Lol FFS
There will be Detroit games coming in the next week or so. I ended up selected them for a league that I joined 😀
