As impressed as I am with the projector, I am equally impressed with Tony's studio and AV recording work. A true pro. Tony, Thank you for your efforts in all of your videos. All the best to you and yours.
Fantastic product, but that price point for a portable projector doesn't make sense unless it's a use case similar to Tony's - where it will be in daily use but is also available for a backyard outdoor movie night when the occasion arises. I'm familiar with Anker projectors. They've been around for a while. My in laws have a "Mars" by Anker. It cost a fraction of this model but gets the job done for a temporary setup.
Looks like it's currently $500 off for prime day. I checked to see if the prime day sale would stack with Tony's code. It doesn't look like it. For around $700, I definitely would have considered purchasing the 1080P version for a backyard/garage projector. For $1,200, it's still a bit rich for my use.
I have the coke can version of the Nebula. It was my first projector then I upgraded to an Epson, then a Hisense Laser projector tv. We occasionally use it for outdoor use. It's expensive but versatile!
Thanks mate, I just mounted with two screws inside wall anchors and they notch on. A cleat would have been better but this works no problem. No reverb in that room. It has a lot of soft surfaces to absorb reflections.
@@BuildMontage Thanks for the reply Tony, the reason I asked about mounting is because I have a cavity sliding door and have to be careful with what fixings I use on gyprock wall in cinema room. Thanks Craig
Video drop on a Wednesday - nice! This projector looks pretty awesome for it is designed for. Agreed that it is nice to see some of the features included. I love the idea of a portable projector. I'll keep this in mind if I decide to setup a viewing for outdoors
This could easily be used for a dedicated projector as demonstrated with the colour management and variable frame rate but it would also work as a portable too.
Superb review and just the right timing as was about to order one in the UK. Is there any chance you could request a similar promo for the UK market? Would really appreciate it as that’s a HUGE discount.
Thank you for the video it answered a lot of questions I had regarding this model. I’m super tempted by it as it seems to cover most of my needs at a nice price point. I don’t suppose you know if it supports 3D movies provided you had the right type of glasses?
Hi , after seeing your review , I bought a new laser 4k. But I could not change the frame rate. In your video, you were able to change frame rate on HDMI. How can it be done.
Hey , thank you for quick reply. Is there any device or TV stick that can have an option to change the refresh rate that can be used with laser 4k? I had also checked XGIMI horizon pro, which had a much higher refresh rate for the same 4k videos that I watched on cosmos laser 4k from the same source. Not sure if Xgimi had it by default.
While the projector offers decent brightness, its black levels are not as deep as some other projectors in its price range. This can result in a washed-out image, especially when viewing dark scenes.

Was skeptical at first, but that definitely has some use cases. Thanks for the video Tony.
At least you are still doing product reviews!!!👍
Sure, product reviews are part of the channel.

Got this for 1200 and its absolutely amazing!!!!
Wow thats a great price!
Great video review, thinking about getting a alr floor rising screen , do you think this is will help picture quality vs a white screen?
Hi Tony
Second room looks great. How are your bunnings acoustic panels going. Can you tell me how you mounted them.
Thanks Craig

@@BuildMontage it would be a nice upgrade from my 1080p projector. Man, I want to upgrade!
Does this have a rear projection mode?
You can change the orientation and flip the image so likely you can but its not a UST so would have to be a fair way back.
How does this compare to the xgimi horizon pro?
I made a video on that one as well. Both are capable. The nebula I think had a few more features like frame rate adapt and was a little brighter.
amazing.
I'm your fan.
Very detailed review. Great Projector. But if it can have more HDMI PORT will be best.
Yes, true

It will only change if the source has the 24p frame rate. Did u get this specific one?

XIGIMI or Nebula Tony? JBHiFi has a sale on for the Nebula, XIGIMI looks good on amazon too!
Nebula for me.
2nd comment! also perfect video!!!
Not sure the rectangle shape is a practical format as it takes up too much viewing space esp on a tripod.
It works depending on where you place it. I did it in such a way so I could film it being in the shot!
25,000 hours for that price is poor bro, thanks for the vids thoe✌️🏴
Your daughter is not bad
I was surprised as well haha!
