Hey thanks for the playthrough, you have a great teaching style. Just curious, when you got the first tiles on the first turn, you had activated the location bonus, but where did the location tag come from?
hi there, this looks so heavy and taking so much space on the table ! Guess that getting destroyed is a weak word here :D 184 to 107 is quite harsh :s Is the IA always that "in your face" ? :) Would like to see some other plays with modules and / or the expansion yeah Cheers
@aorakis5795 i played with the Strong Coffee variant so it did make things a bit more challenging. I do plan on making more playthroughs soon with the modules and expansions.
@@KingKoopa015 thanks for the clarify on the hard coffee mode :) Have you played more solo games since the shooting of the video ? How do you like the solo mode so far ? It looks like taking a lot of space and management for the IA mid/end game doesn't it ? The game looks nice but i'm affraid that the solo IA and the table space makes it a pass for me as i'm looking more and more for fluid games to play
@@aorakis5795 Yeah I've played it a couple times since posting that video but I still haven't played with the expansion content yet. I really like the solo mode, and I think its fairly streamlined but you can get kinda lost in combos/chaining towards that middle/end game. Which can happen to you as well. My biggest beef is that it's a table hog.
I like it quite a bit but it's worker placement and engine building, which is already my jam. I still haven't played with any of the expansion content yet so we'll see how that changes things up. I like that the solo mode is really easy to run for the most part.
@KingKoopa015 it definitely looks fantastic. It's good to know that you enjoy it. I saw some reviews that were essentially comparing it to Septima with the same critique that there are a lot of mechanics but the game can feel like you are just spinning your wheels a little with an anticlimactic ending. Not sure how true that is since I haven't played either game.
@@WhyteRabitScribe I haven't seen the comparison to Septima yet. I haven't play it either but I wanted it until I saw the meh reviews from a solo perceptive. I may need to look into it again and see if they are comparable.
@KingKoopa015 Not sure how true the comparison is. Your playthrough of Unconscious Mind made it look way more enjoyable solo than Septima solo playthroughs I have watched. Any other Worker Placement/Engine Building games you could recommend? I also enjoy that combo in games.
@@WhyteRabitScribe Andromeda's Edge comes to mind first lol. Forges of Ravenshire and Anachrony are two that I think off immediately after. I think Wayfarers of the South Tigris has a decent amount of engine buildings as well. I'm sure there are others that I have that I can't think of at the moment.
I would really like to see another solo game with the expansions.
@@thehighwaygames4388 for sure!

Thanks for watching! As for the Location Bonus, you get one icon from the Notebook itself for that activation.
@@KingKoopa015 ah ok. Didn’t know you get one from the tile itself. Thanks
Can I use resources (ie. Insights) generated during first patient treatment to treat second patient in the same turn?
@@FretekBG i believe so. I don't think there's a rule against it.
