This is a great reminder! So much time is spent trying to work, keeping the bills paid, doing the things that have to be done. But the best is playing with your kids … giving them YOU - the things that memories are made of. Housework and chores can wait for a day - building memories with you and your kids can never be replaced. Do it often! Thanks Billy for your reaction to this! I didn’t drop either of my children but I did fall in the floor holding my daughter who was only a few months old. I went to sit down in a rocking chair in a dark room and totally missed the chair and fell straight to the floor. She never knew anything had happened but I ended up with a horrible bruise.

It was the worse! I was at a Mall and I had a bit of a sore throat and decided to get a cup of hot tea. The Cinnabon employee put the hot tea into a cup with a wax coating that as I walked a few steps away from the counter the cup melted. I was holding it away from my three month old's stroller, but it hit just right where the boiling water splashed up into her stroller. She had burns down her whole left side of her body, and the EMT's didn't realize right away that it had gone down into her diaper her bum was burned even more. An ambulance was called and the EMT's strapped me to the stretcher and had me hold her as we ran from one end of the mall to the other with her screaming. The whole mall thought I had delivered her in the mall. That was so embarrassing! Cinnabon ended up paying all the hospital bills for us. It was very traumatic, and then afterwards my little 3 month old had bandages over half her body. Damn people jump to the worse conclusions. Oh, and she was a super small baby to begin with, so she didn't look 3 mos. old she looked like a newborn covered in bandages. This child wore 3 month old dress to her first birthday and 2T's to 2nd grade. She still has scars on her bum at 26 years old.
I really didn't realize my son had grown until I clipped his head on the doorway. Then he rolled off my couch, I didn't know he could roll over. He fell off the bed too! Lessons in motherhood for me and gravity for him! These things only happened with my 1st. He is 42 now so you don't have to call CPS. 🤪

Unless there daddy is there then I make him carry them lol they are 7&9 but my 9 yr old is smaller then my 7 yr old lol. They grow up fast they very very rarely ever get carried anymore🤷🏻♀️.You never know when it’s the last time with stuff...For example you don’t know the last time they are gonna want you to tuck them in for bed until they just don’t want you too anymore. I miss them being little 💖

my son is 4 ways 60 ponds and i way 110 lol i tried to carry him to bed and when i went to put him down he desided to wiggle so he fell out my hands but he was right over the bed he hit the bed and bounced in to the wall he woke up and just looked and me like why did you do that lol
