he still did his live set the night his dad died. it was a small venue and he wrapped his whole set around his parents and ended by telling us he just found out about his dad and we all teared up together. it was the most powerful comedy set i've ever seen. because despite all the sadness it was still hilarious. marlon is fking amazing ✊🤓

I'm glad Marlon is in good spirits after recently losing his dad. Unfortunately I know the feeling as well of losing both parents in the past couple of recent years. To the fellow people who has loss a parent or both just know their watching over you and to the folks who still have both parents or a parent cherish them while there still here.🙏🏾🙏🏾
I lost my dad last year and my mom in February of this year. It's hard losing parents at a young age but even harder when you're an adult.

His dad was a Jehovah's Witness, and all his kids clowned him for that (mom was not)... but they respected him and knew that dad loved and supported them, even though he did not approve of everything they did.
He FATHERED those 10 kids on a lower middle-class, blue-collar salary, while keeping strict discipline funny in the household. The kids were, in a way, encouraged to be real comedians. Marlon's father was a real man, example, my spiritual brother, and a hero. Pops was strict and devoted to family, and especially faithful to Jehovah our God🧡🧡💛💛💙💙💙💙💜💜❤❤
Why don't you tell the truth? Most JW parents shun their children for doing nothing wrong, living good lives, but deciding not to get baptised as a JW. I know so many who have JW relatives and don't get informed when their loved one dies...or get to the funeral service ad no one speaks to them. Many won't join JWs due to their terrible record on child ab%se...the court cases are terrible. The suffering caused is terrible.
