go to another mechanic bro...120 ft-lb of torque is way too much for your vehicle, it should only be at 85 ft-lb ... over-tightened lug nuts can strip the threads, distort brake rotors, damage the wheel, and possibly shear off the lug stud...

I was thinking the same, mine is meant to be 75ft-lb Lexus GS300 on alloys.

For the most part I never buy anything off of flea Bay. When it comes to impact wrenches stick with the main players, Milwaukee ridged, dewalt, makita, flex. No name brands are made in a rain factory. ⛈

I mean I bought one like that it's on the way now but after I bought it I watch the videos if your mechanic torqued at 120 foot pounds and it has 340 foot-pounds them both should have came right out suddenly it shouldn't take that long to do it

I hear ya but it has consistently done every job I've put it up so far..Today for example, I took my vehicle to the tire shop to have a tire replaced, there were two vehicles ahead of mine .. so I asked the tire repairman to use my impact while I waited, just to see what it would do .. It handled every car he put it on with ease and he was quite impressed with it .. I love mine a lot .. it has been worth every penny so far

Neither am I, but since you gave me the advice about putting out good coin for a cordless impact wrench, I had to see what was available. This one, after watching a few reviews doesn't seem very good, but the AutoJare DOES. It's looking like it's under $100 shipped and comes with carry bag, sockets, charger, and battery. Seems like the real deal, and for someone like me, who isn't using it in a commercial application, I'm probably going to buy it.

@@dgunearthed7859 just found this video on the autojare. It’s not performing consistently. Trust me on this one, wait unit Father’s Day sales start and for about $50 dollars more, you can get the Ryobi HP mid torque impact wrench with warranty. You don’t want to waste $100 on snake oil. AutoJare review is in the link below.

I got one. Great for removing nuts but won’t to using it to torque nuts. As it’s 420 nt and you can only vary torque with trigger pressure it can over rorque easily. Ruining threads. I will tighten final bit with ordinary socket and torque wrench. More expensive ones have precise torque settings ie 100,200,300,400 nt.

If your mechanic torques your lug nuts that much above Honda's recommended amount, I would get another mechanic. Honda and all car manufacturers already take into account a margin of safety and a margin of error when they specify the torque. So if they say torque to 90, that means the wheel will probably stay on without any problems if you torque all the nuts to 75-80.

  • @zaftra

Looks and sounds like cheap chinese junk, will bet it only delivers about 150 lb. ft. or torque. Would recommend a Milwaukee, Dewalt or a Craftsman before this crap, and find another auto technician that does not over torque your lug nuts, could cause them to crack off when they heat up; there is a spec. for several reasons.
