Have my Rook done and it was the easiest piercing i've ever experienced! Got it done about a year ago and never had any issues with it. Maybe since it's tucked away, i just make sure i keep it clean every few weeks or so. Couldn't sleep on it for about 2 weeks at the beginning obviously, but honestly hurt less than my lobes, like a 1 out of 5. Just in case anyone else wanted to get theirs done, everyone has different experiences and you'll never know yours until you try xxxx
if you regularly have flare-ups and infection-like symptoms, try jewelry that is hypoallergenic or stainless steel. there's a chance you have an allergy or intolerance to certain metals! i have crazy bad metal allergies with my piercings and had no idea until i changed out what i was using :)
My rook I put a camomile teabag in boiling water with sea salt and leave it to steep for a good while, then take the bag out and hold it against it, it calms the pain and reduces swelling and has got rid of keloid scarring on forward helix too xx
You're lucky. Mine felt at least an 8 out of 10 to pierce, like someone was holding a lit match to them for 20 seconds. But the initial pain does subside fast. For the healing process, as long as I didn't bump them or touch them they were not sore. I'd say 6 months in things got better and I was able to sleep on them. Total healing time for me took two years because I had a couple of bad snags (shudders).
I’ve had my nipples pierced! It gave me a lot of self confidence!! And the pain wasn’t super bad, just a little uncomfortable! But they take a while to heal! It’s worth it tho and they look so cute 😍
I had soooo many problems with my rook piercing healing and had to take it out. My worst painwise was either when my medusa got stretched, or my nipples. I got them both done at the same time and the adrenaline wore off on the second one so it hurt quite a lot haha. Worth it tho! I miss them I'd love them done again.
Got the one nip pierced- hurt getting it done but healed quickly, just catches on things so ditch the loofa! Love it so much tho! Love you hope you're having a good time on your travels!
I've been waiting for this video for so long, loved it thank you! Also I love Shop Dixi, everything they do is stunning but I'm particularly in love with their rings 😍
I have had 18 piercings, I was terrified for my nipples but they were the least painful piercing I have ever had! I got them both done at the same time and I was shocked at how little pain, they stung for the rest of the day after but then they are fine! So worth it, little strange at first as they really change your look but I now love them!
Hi, I had my nipples pierced about 4 years ago - one lasted for 1 year and the other lasted about 3 and a half years before they started rejecting. It’s so so common with nipple piercings so it’s something to watch out for if you get them done! X
Been waiting for this video for the longest time 😂 I had my rook and forward helix done on the same ear at the same time nearly a month ago and my rook does the same! Also I had my nipple pierced a good few years ago now and in my opinion it was nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be! It’s just an awkward one for healing, but just looks so pretty ✨ my nose is also my favourite piercing! Xx
My rook was incorrectly pierced and refused to heal. My piercer (not the one who messed up) had me take it out, let it heal and repierced it. Now it is completely healed and is one of my favorites.
I have both nipples done and it really wasn't that painful, I found my nose was worse. I definitely recommend getting them both done in the same session (if you plan on getting them both done). And healing is fairly smooth and straightforward, the only time I have issues is if I catch them on anything, which doesn't actually happen as often as you think! Honestly, if you like the way they look, get it done! Piercings aren't permanent and if it doesnt agree with your body you can just take it out, no big deal
I’ve had one of my nipples done cause I hated my boobs but honestly I love them so much more after it. The piercing really isn’t as bad as it seems and mine on hurt for like a day after getting it done, it’s just the healing that I’ve found to be difficult with it
The fact that the diamond fell out of your Maria tash jewelry with the amount they charge is ridiculous to me! Been debating buying something there for ages but I'll pass haha, lovely piercings btw
I had my nipples pierced few times and they never heal and a lot of youtubers that jave had them say the same thing 😅 Maybe if you changed the hoop in the rook to a longer curved barbell then it will heal better because it will have space for the swelling and it's easier to clean and it doesn't move around like a hoop would. 😊
Diluted tea tree oil helped me when my piercings were swollen/had a healing bump!! Was so tempted to get a rook or nose piercing but not sure I can live with the fear of slow healing again ahahah
I got my nipples done and I waited for ages becuaee I was TERRIFIED but I went one day and got both of them done it took all of ten minutes and it was less painful than my nose piercing it was so easy! Heals well and looks great, definitely go for it gal
Piercings are my jammmm!!!! I have my rook, conch, double helix, and three lobes on each ear done. I also have both nips as well. They do really hurt getting them done; it's a sharp lasting pain that just freezes your entire body for about 2-5ish minutes (I mean at least for me...second one is always worse because you know what to expect). But honest to God they are so worth it. I've never been more confident with my body when nekkid. Healing for me for them was also a bitch; it's been way over a year and they still crust over. Consistent cleaning is key. You have to be very, veryyyyyy careful when changing clothes, not walking into things, showering, etc. But I HIGHLY recommend; you won't regret getting them done.
Ahhh yes I've been waiting for this video, I'm such a big fan of your piercings! How well did your conch heal? I'm hopefully getting my conch pierced soon and want to be prepared for the healing process!
Elle Anne my conch has been my BEST piercing in terms of healing like it healed in a couple months but was fine to sleep on after a couple days, did get a keloid due to me not cleaning properly but just major sure you clean it, but it’s been a dream
I had the same problem with my rook, it stopped swelling at about a year I had it. Now I have it for 2 or 3 years and it’s completely healed and feels like the opposite rook (normal and not swollen).
I had a rook that just was not healing. My current piercer said that it had been pierced too deeply. I took it out and will get it redone soon. I have 19 piercings now, with a double left nostril piercing. The first nostril piercing was the most painful of all and the second was the least painful. Go figure.
The chest was probably one of the easiest to heal. Can be painful but they're so easy to clean. They're out of everything's way so are pretty chill. a doddle in my experience x
My nipple piercings hurt a lot but I love them and would recommend! It’s very quick and the healing process wasn’t so bad, just a little sore the first few days.
I had my nose pierced and it didn’t hurt at all. There was a slight pinch when they put the jewellery in but that was it, my eyes didn’t even water. I found it healed within a month too. Guess I’m really lucky
Ive been wanting another piercing for ages but not sure where aha I have my nose, 4 lobe, 2 helix and my forward helix done. My forward helix was my most painful as i had a bar and it took ages to put the back ball one😂
Love my piercings too, my nose wasnt painful at all, I'm waiting to get two more piercings when I can finally find the time. My friend had their nipples pierced, it didn't hurt but they kept getting infected where they were rubbing on clothes, they ended up taking them out...
I love piercings but my last 2 have rejected 😫 I had my rook in for about a year but it just wouldn’t heal and then one day just fell out. And had my nipple pierced for about a year and a half and it just would NOT heal! So I eventually had to take it out 👎🏻
I have 2 piercings in my lobes, the first set I got back in 1993, second set March this year. I also got my nose pierced in February this year and it seems to have healed! Only thing is, i can only wear titanium jewellery, my body hates any other kind of metal for some reason! So i have all silver titanium hoops. Thinking about getting a third set of lobe piercings done 😂
Between my nipples and nose, nipples were worse. pain want sharp, more of a burning sensation. Healing was ok, except when you get that shit caught on something - ouch, but of course, that's all piercings. i say go for it though! i've had mine done or two years and still love them!
Nipple piercings hurt about as much as you think it would .. but it’s only the second it happens. Mine healed so easily never any problems I would try and find a place that pierces with tygon I think that had a lot to do with it .
I had both my nipples pierced twice at the same time when I was 21. I took them out at 24 to breast feed. I'm now 46 & have a really bad scar/lump of keloid skin under one of my nipples. I'm gutted at this. If you do it hopefully you'll be fine. x
I had both nips done. Pain was like 4/5 but for like 10seconds including inserting the jewellery so no probs. :3 BUT the healing! It wouldnt heal so I took it out after one year or so. It was just annoying. :( But they looked so BOMB!
Omg I love piercing videos! For the longest time I only had my lobes and second lobe done on my left year. Then 3 years ago I decided to get a navel piercing and the healing was horrendous. After all this time I still get some discharge from it. But in the past year I really got the piercing fever 😂 I got a helix, third lobe, a tragus and a daith. None of those was really painful. The helix is incredibly hard to heal but I love it so much! Tragus I barely noticed when I got it, literally zero pain. Now the rook is on my wishlist but I'm trying to give my ears a little break 🤣 all jewellery is Maria Tash. Couldn't recommend them enough ❤️
I want to get my Tagus pierced but I’m worried I won’t be able to wear in ear headphones, will it still be possible 😮😮😘😘😘 your makeup is stunning in this 😆😆
I had my right nipple pierced - I cleaned it properly and it healed well... until I found a lump which turned out to be an abyss :( my body rejected it, not saying it will happen to you but be careful!
had my left nipple pierced, it wasn’t painful my rook was super painful though, my nipple healed super quick but swapping the jewellery is super scary though
I've had my nipples pierced, and one of them repierced. Ok, so, the shit thing about it is how easily they catch and how your body can start rejecting the jewellery. This has happened twice for me. What happens is your body will slowly start to push the piercing out for no reason! It could be cause you're using a different piece of jewellery your body just decides it doesn't like because of what it is made out of, it could be too heavy for your nipples, or your body just does not like it in general. I have lost a lot of weight while having my nipple rings in so when one of them came out and I had to get it repierced and because I lost a lot of weight it actually changed the direction of my nipple rings, originally they were horizontal but after losing weight one was diagonal so I had to get the new one to be pierced diagonally too. I had to take them out again because my right one was completely rejecting the jewellery while the left one was developing a little hole in the middle. My right one also ALWAYS got caught on things and if you accidentally bumped up against something without a bra on God have mercy on your soul and pray it doesn't get ripped out cause that almost happened to me tons of times. With that all be said, I feel much more confident with my piercings in and comfortable in my body. I'm getting them replaced for a THIRD time in December. The pain is a 8 out of 10, you won't feel the first one, but you won't be able to wear a bra home cause of the pressure it puts on the piercings.
I wore a sports bra immediately after piercing because I read that it reduced the pressure feeling on the throbbing nipples. It worked pretty well for me. A regular bra? Nope. I had to wear a sports bra for two weeks!
I know it's a random question, but does the hoop on your rook piercing bother you when you lie down on that side or sleep? I was considering changing my rook's jewellery and I'd like to know 🤗
I had one nipple done and I’d say it was worse than my nose. The woman made me lie with my hands under me because of the amount of people who’s reflex is to hit her 😂 I had to take it out because it just wouldn’t heal and got proper bad infected. Gutting because it looked so cool, but not a good experience for me
I would love to get my conch pierced but I am SO scared of the pain and mostly of the aftercare and healing. How was your healing on that particular piercing? Was it a bitch?
I want a daith .. wondering about the pain. My ear piercings are all closed. My first pair was done when i was 5 or 6 years old. But they stayed sensitive, and also had to take them out during PE. Then they always started closing immediately (eventually, they closed when i was maybe 8). Then i had them done again with maybe 20. But they also closed in like 2 years.. Now, i am 34 and want a daith :D
Some months down the road now.. didn't get a daith, as the piercer said my my ear is too fine at that place. Not enough ear auricle to pierce through there. So i got a rook instead and i am super happy with it, didn't hurt much! And now i want more piercings :D Thinking of a conch or forward helix.. oooor tragus.
Wouldn't recommend nipple piercings.. I had mine done 7 years ago now and it's still not healed correctly, it gets gammy at the slightest knock. It is a lovely piercing but I worked at the breast clinic in the nhs for 4 years and it can cause breast abscesses and cysts I regret mine although it does look amazing I wouldn't advise it also it is the worst pain ever! I'd rather have my nose pieced 4 times over than have my nipple done again. But if your like me if you want it done you will 🤣 just be prepared for the constant hassle! Alot of my friends have had the same issues too but you might be okay? Who knows xx
Ive got both my nipples pierced and honestly didn't hurt at all, when i had my nose pierced that's the once piercing I've had with pain! nipples look so pretty take along time to heal though
Had both my nipples pierced. Didn't hurt was just weird standing with my boobs out haha. Took them out to breast feed.. had to re pierce one and the other completely closed. My sorest piercing was my conch.
Those lashes are gorgeeeeee!!! When I had my daughter my mother and mother in law kept nagging me about when I was going to pierce my 3 month olds ears (I’m Mexican btw lol) the crazier part is that when her pediatrician pierced her ears my husband asked if he could pierce her lobe and the top of her lobe and the pedi said YES!!!!!!!😳 also, guys don’t pierce your babies ears with piercing guns!! Go to an actual piercing salon and have someone WITH experience pierce your baby with the needle! Man I can’t believe I pierced my tragus with a gun! What was I thinking (EDIT) my baby only has her lobes pierced lol
Ive my tragus, industrial, helix and lobes done. Omg i nearly passed out after the industrial one. Rather do my labours again than do that piercing again 😂
Nipple piercings look amazing but they’re a BITCH to heal. My best friend and I got them and im about 4 years in and still having problems. You have to clean them all the time and just be super careful. They’re a literal pain but I love them
I've got my nipple done wasn't that painful but I was left with a needle in my nipple while they went to get the bar was worried someone would walk in lol
Hope you didn't go back there. All bits needed should be out and ready as it should be swift. Jewellery should be in before the adrenaline goes and you notice the pain.
I saw you say in a video before your conch didn't hurt at all so I expected it not to hurt when I had mine done - I was v wrong lmao it hurt like a bitch and took a looong time to heal. Had my nose done at the same time tho and it was fine - so basically the complete opposite of you 😂
I've had my nipples done, it was quite possibly the worst pain of my life 😂 it's horrendous and I nearly passed out. However once the piercing is done it's okay, they haven't really been sore since, aslong as you don't catch them on anything because that hurts. It's just horrific when it's done 😂 also if you're a slow healer, it may not be wise. Because they take up to a year to properly heal😂 but I love mine, I don't regret it. But I definitely wouldn't have them done again 😂😂 xx
also this outfit/hair/makeup is my favourite look you have ever done 😍😍😍
THE VIDEO WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR

I've had my rook pierced for 9 years and it still flares up every few months! Daith on the other hand has been an absolute dream.

IN LOVE with the warmth of your background
Had my nipples done: about a 3.5 pain. It’s quick and wasn’t sore afterwards. Not as bad as the nose. Just be careful not to catch them on anything!

@@nickj12 it’s so weird how it’s different for everyone. for my nose everyone was saying “it’s basically painless” but my nose was the worse pain ever
I’ve had my nipples pierced! It gave me a lot of self confidence!! And the pain wasn’t super bad, just a little uncomfortable! But they take a while to heal! It’s worth it tho and they look so cute 😍

I am now in a binge of watching all your videos 😂
had been a hot minute so figured it needed to happen
ah finally!!! any chance u could do a rings vid too? x

love the stories behind each of of the piercings❤️

My tragus is my fave followed by my daith (you need to add this one next 😉)
The fact that the diamond fell out of your Maria tash jewelry with the amount they charge is ridiculous to me! Been debating buying something there for ages but I'll pass haha, lovely piercings btw
I have the major diamond fallen out of mine as well literally one month after purchase🥲their pieces really aren't worth that money🥲
I had my nipples pierced few times and they never heal and a lot of youtubers that jave had them say the same thing 😅
Maybe if you changed the hoop in the rook to a longer curved barbell then it will heal better because it will have space for the swelling and it's easier to clean and it doesn't move around like a hoop would. 😊
You look so beautiful
Try using solid gold in the piercings that are flaring up.
Watched this yesterday, went out today and got two piercings
Diluted tea tree oil helped me when my piercings were swollen/had a healing bump!! Was so tempted to get a rook or nose piercing but not sure I can live with the fear of slow healing again ahahah
Katy S I heal really badly, always have, and tea tree oil helps me so much
Watching this.... i need ideas for ear piercings style... im thinking get it for my 30th in sept😛 unsure if look good on me? 🤔

I've got 4 lobes in each ear then a helix and my nose &septum 😊
Do u recommend industrial for guys
My first lobe was a 0.5/5. It was really not that bad. I was 3🤔
had my left nipple pierced, it wasn’t painful my rook was super painful though, my nipple healed super quick but swapping the jewellery is super scary though
Good places to get jewellery? That don’t change the colour of your skin (rust)
I had to take it out because it just wouldn’t heal and got proper bad infected. Gutting because it looked so cool, but not a good experience for me
i have 13 piercings but for sure my conch was my most painful one and then my rook. but my nose piercing hurt the most lol
i don’t know why but i feel like i’m the only one who finds the conch piercing so painful aha
I would love to get my conch pierced but I am SO scared of the pain and mostly of the aftercare and healing. How was your healing on that particular piercing? Was it a bitch?
Is your nose ring the 6mm one??? X
Mollie Jayne I had mine done and it’s the worst pain I’ve ever had! And I love a piercing!!
You must have balls of steel, I nearly passed out when I had my nipples done but I changed my nose stud a day after it was done 😂😂
Had both my nipples pierced. Didn't hurt was just weird standing with my boobs out haha. Took them out to breast feed.. had to re pierce one and the other completely closed. My sorest piercing was my conch.
I had to take me snug piercing out as it kept flaring. 2 years down the line it started rejecting ... would not recommend
Same here
that's a hard one to heal, I heard. A lot of piercers are hesitant to perform that piercing for that reason; its high rejection rate.
How do you find sleeping with hoops? Always wanna change mind but I worry
Finallyyyyy!!!!!!
Iv has my rook pierced for about a ago year and mine does exactly the same. Keeps swelling and I have to clean it everyday 😒
What was I thinking (EDIT) my baby only has her lobes pierced lol
re. healing process...manukha honey worked really well.
Ive my tragus, industrial, helix and lobes done. Omg i nearly passed out after the industrial one. Rather do my labours again than do that piercing again 😂
Oh and ive my lip done. That was grand pain wise
2nd the best 💁🏼♀️😂
Nipple piercings look amazing but they’re a BITCH to heal. My best friend and I got them and im about 4 years in and still having problems. You have to clean them all the time and just be super careful. They’re a literal pain but I love them
I've got my nipple done wasn't that painful but I was left with a needle in my nipple while they went to get the bar was worried someone would walk in lol
Hope you didn't go back there. All bits needed should be out and ready as it should be swift. Jewellery should be in before the adrenaline goes and you notice the pain.
Ah dammit, I want to get my rook done and another for my 20th but I hate pain and needles 😂 😂 although I do already have 5 piercings xx
I saw you say in a video before your conch didn't hurt at all so I expected it not to hurt when I had mine done - I was v wrong lmao it hurt like a bitch and took a looong time to heal. Had my nose done at the same time tho and it was fine - so basically the complete opposite of you 😂
My ear piercing was more painful than a nose one. It’s so individual
First 🧡 Love you Emma
I've had my nipples done, it was quite possibly the worst pain of my life 😂 it's horrendous and I nearly passed out. However once the piercing is done it's okay, they haven't really been sore since, aslong as you don't catch them on anything because that hurts. It's just horrific when it's done 😂 also if you're a slow healer, it may not be wise. Because they take up to a year to properly heal😂 but I love mine, I don't regret it. But I definitely wouldn't have them done again 😂😂 xx
i got my nipples done and i will say that its alot of work and alot of patience
Get a daith piercing 😍
why on earth was I unsubscribed!! why does youtube keep doing this 😭😭
your camera is tooo far
omg the loofa gets caught on your nipple piercings i had to cut my loofa off my nipple it was so caught! I would give it a 5/5 it’s spicy for sure!
What about your bellybutton?
Loved this video! I’m also a huge fan of piercings& have a fair few myself 😄😄❤️
