    Hi Andrei. How long should the video be? Thanks.

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад +1

      I see it as a teaser or trailer of the home, so anywhere from 30 sec - 1:30 is what I think they should be. Unlike full listing videos that can be longer than that since they show most of the home

    how you deal to shot 50mm and 16-35mm while you're on field ? 2 gimbals ???

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад +1

      Swap lenses and rebalance. 😅 but it honestly adds like 1-2 minutes if that bc my 50 is similar the when I balance the 15-35. However, now using a 15-35 2.8, shooting details at 35mm + crop mode on the camera can get me similar results. Or I shoot them handheld or like in this video I used my tripod to break up the gimbal shots. Thanks for watching!

    Great video! I am looking to get a new gimbal and the mini is on my list as a potential purchase. I am hesitating because I am not sure it will hold my set up sony a7r3 and 16-35 G master. Any idea if that set up would be an issue for the mini? I saw a video where the person recommended only crop sensor body paired with a small lens.

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад +1

      Hey! I think it will hold that set up just fine. I think my camera body is bigger than yours, and my lens is a 15-35 so it’s probably around the same size as the G master. I think on DJI’s website, you can check to see if it’s compatible

    I try my hardest to listen to clients when they have a "amazing vision for the video or photos" but man is it difficult, it's 9 times out of 10 absolutely terrible, or causes a lot more trouble than it's worth so I have to put my foot down respectfully. Also, it's usually the clients that tend to "know best" when it comes to the luxury market. I'm in the mindset of stay in your line, and I won't tell you how to talk to your clients as an agent, but I do at least give them a chance if they are coming at me with suggestions respectfully opposed to "they know best".

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Good points there! I guess I mean they usually just have a general idea, and I come up with the specifics or we both collaborate on it, like for this video. But ya I’ve had clients throw some odd ideas out before too

    The biggest con I've heard about this is it doesn't support an Arca plate. If that's the case, it's a shame because it's beyond important for photographers to switch quickly between the gimbal and their tripod. Is this true, or have they updated it by chance?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Yup, that’s been annoying! But actually SmallRig just sent me they’re own arca mount for the rs3 mini. Haven’t used it yet, actually will be shortly for a shoot but I think it’s solved with their plate replacement

    Question on epidemic sound, I have it but what if the client wants to upload it on their platform? Won't they get copyrighted with it? Or they should get the ES sub too?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  5 месяцев назад +1

      They can upload it and in your ES account, you can copy the link of wherever they post it and clear the video for them! So for example, if we send over a video to a client with ES music on it and they post it on their YT channel and get a copyright notice, I simply copy the link of that video and go to the section on ES where you can clear videos and that's it. But you have to have the commercial plan, doesn't work with the personal plan since that just covers your personal accounts. Thanks for watching!

    Is there Any reason to consider the large gimbal over the mini? Any advantages?

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Honestly it mostly comes down to the weight and size of your setup. The video before this one, I reviewed the RS3 Pro. Great gimbal, but it's mostly aimed for large setups like a c70 or or cinema cameras. So total overkill for what I'm doing. If my setup didn't fit the Rs3 mini or was too heavy, I'd be looking at the regular RS3. You do lose a few features like the auto-locking arms and not sure what else. But you also gain native vertical mounting. Hope this answers your question, thanks for watching!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Hey! Great question. If I’m specifically shooting a regular formatted video, and then also doing a vertical edit, I’ll try and shoot some actual vertical shots of the highlights of the property and also crop in to the rest. If I’m specifically shooting a vertical video or doing a different edit from the regular formatted video, I’ll shoot all the shots vertically. Actually working on a vertical RE video that should go live next week. Thanks for watching!

    What would you recommend as good inexpensive camera gear (camera, lens and tripod) for beginners in real estate photo shooting? I think the Canon R6 or R7 are significant investments starting out.

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Agree with you there! Before a canon r6, I using a 5d mark iv but even that’s overkill. 5d3 or 6D / 6D mark ii preowned could be worth looking into. mpb.com is a great site for preowned stuff, that’s what I use. Also the new R8 that came out. Or I also started with the canon rebel series. T5, T6, etc. and a crop sensor wide angle lens. And also, do you have a pretty new phone? You could honestly use the ultra wide angle lens if your phone has one as well. Thanks for watching!

      @@AndreiRestrepo Cool, thanks for the reply! What's your take on the Canon EOS Rebel SL3 (EOS 250D)? It comes with a EF-S 18-55 mm III lens. Seems quite affordable.

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      I’m sure that or any camera could do the job. It’s mostly about the proper lens for real estate photography. The kit lens unfortunately isn’t wide enough. But you could get the camera and then look at the canon 10-18mm lens or others by tamron or sigma!

    • @AndreiRestrepo
      @AndreiRestrepo  Год назад

      Thanks so much, definitely plan to! I shot everything at 60fps since I knew the video would have a slower/cinematic feel and have the ability to slow down some parts. The interior RE shots thought were at 30fps, all in $k on the Canon R6. Thanks for watching!
