This was fantastic! I’d love a part 2 if you can ever think up enough games to make a second list. I’ve heard Ever Oasis shares some similarities as well. There were several games on this list that made me sit back and think, “yeah, you know what I can see that!” and several I did know about as well that had me nodding along. The Alliance Alive was fantastic. Ironically enough, I played it before I ever touched the Suikoden series and I fell in love with it as a whole - when I got into Suikoden and I learned Yoshitaka was behind it, I was overjoyed at the realization it was (at least in part) because he had a hand in it. Hopefully Sega will give us a much needed, overdue port on modern systems of Skies of Arcadia. I’ve only ever played the first 4-6 hours back on the Dreamcast but I had to return the borrowed copy to a friend before I could continue on and I never got another chance to play it. I have an emulated version of Legends running on my Steam deck but I’d rather play an official version if possible. Thankfully I’ve got a lot of Suikoden ahead of me to keep me busy until that port someday happens. I’ve played Suikoden II and Suikoden V so far and I loved both. II quickly became my favorite JRPG of all time when I played it last fall, and ever since I’ve become a huge fan. Can’t wait for the HD remasters so I can finally play the first!
The encounter rate for the Dreamcast version of Skies of Arcadia is something like double what you get in the Gamecube version. Plus the graphics are a bit better, and there's some extra side content. Thanks!
Try also "Suikoden The Last Hope" patch v8.6" for PS1 it's including different scenario for Odessa ✨👍🏻

Fans crave a throwback to classic Suikoden...
Fans complain about a throwback to classic Suikoden... 😂 can't win
Reffering to Eiyuden C?
Why do you recommend the gamecube version of Skies of Arcadia over the Dreamcast version? Also, good video :)

@@GameClouds I expected the answer to include "extra content", didn't know about the encounter rate. Thanks :)
