  • This is a the warmup I do before a workout. The goal is to get the muscles moving and the joints moving before proceeding to the full on exercises and AVOID INJURIES during the workout. Now you can follow along and warmup with me!
    Warming up is important to help prevent injuries. Getting injured during a workout can really set you back and stifle progress. Warmups will get your muscles ready for the workout and wake them up!

    Would absolutely love to see a series of you showing how to hit all muscle groups at home using calisthenics! Keep up that nice work man, really admire your content and work ethic - you drive a RUclips channel while working, taking care of your family, training, etc… Really impressive!

    My warmup usually consists of taking a good 6 minute walk to the gym. And at least for Chest, and Triceps day using a cardio based rowing machine for 1600 meters. Otherwise my warmup for anything else is walk to the gym, and doing warm up sets on said compound barbell lift before the main working sets.

    For strength guys, I recommend just doing a few reps with 50% of usual rep weight for a quick warmup to the target muscles.
    You don't have to warmup the same muscle groups for successive exercises that work the same muscle groups in the same workout
