    Perry was the master of the slow and gradual progression of the song and ending with the big finale. I don't think any other popular singer did it better.

    Thanks for the upload. I've always wanted to see the 15 -minute Perry Como Show, since I 've seen the Kraft Music Hall Shows he did later on.

    Liggett & Myers didn't introduce "Chesterfield King" until the fall of 1952. So this HAD to be the broadcast of December 19, 1952- a Friday show, as "MAMA" followed Perry at 8pm(et).

    And besides, the CBS Eye was not introduced until 1951 anyway.
