John Mahoney After making the 2 marks I measured the distance the 2 marks are apart with a caliper. Then I divided that measurement in half and put the TDC mark in the middle of the 2 marks using the caliper. In my other video using a degree wheel and camera it's a bit easier that way.

How do you know you have split the difference between the 2 marks with out a degree wheel?
