I was visiting relitives in Ballyshannon this year May 20-21 and didn't know about the festival, it was my first time in Ireland, by the time I left I was planning to return to 2018 festival. I saw Rory back in 1978 in Boston, by far the best show I went to, and I went to a lot back then. Eric Clapton, Blackmore, Roy Buchanan, the who, the stones, just to name a few. Still on my "Bucketlist". Once I'll do the pilgrimage from Kuurne (Belgium) to Ballyshannon to greet the Saint of Irish Bluesrock ! Have fun everyone. Rory will never be forgotten and will live forever in our hearts through his music and spirit. Peace !
