Night of the Escalade, A fierce battle in Geneva in 1602

In a dark December night, the troops of the Duke of Savoy tempted to conquer Geneva, an independent city, in 1602.
The plot failed, and since then Geneva remembers the salvation of the city, every year for a whole weekend.
