Yes! At first I wished she gave us patterns to print, but after only making one or two I saw I could do it and even can make my own. Way more empowering (though this is cool too)

Hey ! I’m making this dress for my friend and I’m really scared about the sizing following the tutorial since it’s a rather fitted dress! Would really appreciate if you tell me how did you find it 😊❤
@@maymabzd5747 For this dress, I bought the pattern from Jess so the size guide is already there 👉🏼👈🏼 for me the size is good I just prefer the top part to be a bit shorter
I love this dress and purchased your pattern, I made the dress yesterday! :) It turned out so well. Thank you so much. I'll definitely be making more of your items. I've already made 3 pairs of your overalls/jump suit too! :)
This is awesome Jess! I am definitely going to buy the pattern, I already have the perfect fabric for it! Thanks so much for sharing all your sewing with us
Thank you Jess, I can't wait to make my purchase of your new pattern (And also making it reasonable price that people can afford any where around the world)🙏! New sewing holiday project awaits for me😁! Lots of love from Cape Town, South Africa🌍❤
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the video and try out the Clara pattern soon. I was trying to make it affordable for everyone as I understand that feeling when it comes to buying an expensive pattern. Looking forward to seeing you in your own Clara dress.
U r just like a sister helping so many other sisters all over the globe ❤!! That's far better than acting like a professional !it's why u r loved so much by everyone..
What a beautiful dress it will be lovely for wearing here in the U.K. The idea of buying a pattern sounds great as this is what takes me the longest making the patterns.
Hope you like it! As you said you're very petite in top, make sure to check out the bust size of the pattern when choosing the size. I recommend you to choose one size bigger than your usual size as this is quite a fitted dress.
Beautiful dress, but I've had issues with previous of your self-drafted patterns with a bigger bust size. This looks pretty straight forward though and I might give it a try.
So when making the bodice pattern, you marked 8cm as 1/2 you neck measurement. This would make you neck 16 cm, and my neck is 32cm so do I make it 16cm or also 8cm?
I so appreciate how you show how to make patterns it is so helpful for us who are not always the size of patterns available. Do you have a patreon or a way we could donate towards your Chanel? All the best
Thank you so much for loving my works! I currently don't have any place for the supporting to my channel. But I'm building the membership area where we can all discuss and sharing more details about our love for sewing together. I'll let you know when it's ready.

@@JessDangDIY I am making a dress from your tutorial last week. It’s really good and easy to understand. I’m not finished yet but I think I’ll turn out good. Thank you for that. I really love your channel 🥰

The neck line is a little revealing, i want to high it up under the clavicules but i dont have the measurments and i am afraid it wont turns out how i want it. PlEASE HEEELP!!!!!!
At the gap between 2 front bodices, you move it up a bit. Then re-draw the front neckline of the front bodice which is the line from the shoulder through the mark you just made. It will help to make the neck not that deep
Hi chị Jess I’m at the final step making the dress, but still stuck in the way to tie it since I’ve never been wearing a wrap dress before 😅. Can you please show me how 🥹🥹? I’ll tag you on my instagram 😆 I’ve had a fun time with my mom (who used to be a tailor) making this dress! ❤ Thank so much for your help 🥹
Hi em, at the last step, you need to create a small hole at one side of the sideline by un-sew the seam there. It can be at the end of the bodice part or at the beginning of the skirt part. Remember to permanent the seam after that to avoid the falling off of the seam. To wear the dress, you move the tie of the other side through that hole, go around the waist at the back and will meet the other tie at one side of your sideline. So you can connect 2 times together
What makes Jess the best among the rest is that she teaches us how to make our own pattern in simplest way. 😍
SIMPLY TRUE

This is a wrap dress. So it can be adjusted easily. For bigger bust size, make sure you check out the size chart of the dress to avoid that problem.
Thank you❤️❤️

So when making the bodice pattern, you marked 8cm as 1/2 you neck measurement. This would make you neck 16 cm, and my neck is 32cm so do I make it 16cm or also 8cm?
The neck size here to me is the width between 2 sides of the neck, not circle around the neck. That's why it's 16cm to me.
Ok thank you!
Teehee, I’m just gonna pretend like you named your pattern after me, Clara is an excellent name choice imo!
What made you choose this name?
Haha, I will pretend I did it. This name just came to me instantly when I looked at this dress. Just a perfect name for it

So beautiful dress🥰 .. Is the wrap cut suitable for denim fabric??
with denim fabric, the skirt part won't be too flowy
What kind of fabric do you recommend?
I would recommend to go with mid weight fabric such as linen, thick chiffon, silk or soft cotton
Can you teach us to make this dress with lining please 😍☺️🙏🏻
I'll try to check it out soon
Hi which cau did you take in learning the pattern making?
I took a private course with my teacher who is living in Ho Chi Minh city. Sadly he doesn't have any online course.
@@JessDangDIY Ok, thank you.
Is there a guide to calculate meterage of fabric per size?
Yes, I have the suggested length of the fabric need for each size in the booklet instruction of the pattern
if i want to buy your pattern what is us size 6 in AUS size?
I have the size chart for your reference on the website. So you can check it out to know exactly size you should go with
Is this the video provided with the pattern?
Yes, you can check the digital pattern in the description.
