  • Recreating DOMINO'S PIZZA at home. It's finally time for me to learn my all-time greatest guilty pleasure. I love this pizza, but whenever I try to make pizza at home, it tastes nothing like this. So, I compiled some copycat recipes to try and put together a homemade Domino's Pizza as closely to the real thing as I can get it.

    Ingredients
    Dough
    - 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    - 1 teaspoon salt
    - 3 teaspoons brown sugar
    - 7 g packet instant yeast
    - 5 teaspoons dry milk powder
    - 2 tablespoons olive oil
    - 177 milliliters warm water
    - Cornmeal (for rolling)
    Sauce
    - Canned whole or diced tomatoes
    - Tomato puree
    - 1 tablespoon sunflower oil (or vegetable oil)
    - Salt (to taste)
    - Sugar (to taste)
    - Basil (to taste)
    - Garlic powder (to taste)
    - Oregano (to taste)
    - Black pepper (to taste)
    Toppings
    - 70% mozzarella cheese
    - 30% provolone cheese
    Steps
    Dough Preparation
    1. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, dry milk powder, and olive oil in a bowl. Whisk together.
    2. Add half the warm water to the flour mixture.
    3. In a separate bowl, mix instant yeast with the remaining warm water and let it rest for 10 minutes.
    4. Once yeast is frothy, add it to the flour mixture and mix well.
    5. Knead the dough by hand or with a mixer until smooth.
    6. Coat the dough lightly with olive oil, place it in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 90 minutes.
    Sauce Preparation
    1. Puree the canned tomatoes until smooth.
    2. In a saucepan, combine pureed tomatoes, tomato puree, sunflower oil, basil, oregano, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and sugar.
    3. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat until it begins to bubble, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
    Pizza Assembly
    1. Punch down the risen dough and knead for a couple of minutes.
    2. Divide the dough in half, cover, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
    3. Sprinkle cornmeal on your surface and shape the dough into your desired pizza shape.
    4. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking pan.
    5. Spread the homemade pizza sauce evenly on the dough, leaving about an inch around the edges.
    6. Mix the mozzarella and provolone cheeses and spread them over the sauce.
    7. Optional: Brush the crust with sunflower oil.
    Baking
    1. Preheat your oven to 250°C (460°F).
    2. Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
