Raising a child is hard enough with both biological parents in the house. Don't forget the men who are called Step-Dad. It's takes a special man to love, financially support, and raise a child who is not his own blood. I applaud them! My father was a hard worker and not a perfect man. He made sure we had a roof over our head and food on the table. I'm forever grateful ..

Sadly, due to my religious upbringing, I judged Rev. Jakes as a prosperity preacher and the neg. thoughts that come with that UNTIL the Spirit challenged me to listen to this ministry so I would have evidence to support my debates. I have been listening for 4 years and I can say that I have repented of my errors and now Mr. Jakes, because of his anointing and the power in which he delivers the Word, I count it as a blessing to hear him. I have learned so much about the Savior and the bible. Thank you Father for this ministry, and BTW " Lil Tommy Jakes" and I are both WV boys.

He touched on a key point that I never thought about...the way a woman is raised is her culture...My wife was raised by a single mother and I was raised by a 2 parent household...with structure, roles, discipline, love, respect and spirituality as a foundation...We both came from 2 different cultures. She also was a single mother like her mother...her dad was absent..jail and streets...2 different cultures...now I know why we've had a difficult marriage..I moved out after 7 yrs..I don't think you can change the culture of a woman's upbringing..

This is a beautiful, truthful, honest, etc message that all blacks, in particular, need to listen to. If we honestly listen to this, we could begin the HEALING PROCESS in our lives.
Thankful for the access I have to Jesus and his blessings. Jesus loves me, yes I know!
This was a lesson that everyone should take a hold of and dissect. Every part of this lesson has to be divided into what works for you. Find it study it and live it. Anything worth having is worth working for. Circumstances comes in your everyday walk. Learning how to approach them is the key to going through them not using a ladder to climb over them are exit around them. Some things need to be dealt with face on. Yes God is real and he has given us the tools to used for our everyday living. The bottom line grab the right tool for the job at hand.

From 1:14:30 to 1:21:30 speak volumes to the efforts of a father (or mother) working to provide a better life fir their children. It resonates within a man (or woman) the struggle we feel inside trying to balance our mind, body, spirit, finances, between multiple people/obligations, and the emotional challenges when we are not able to be 💯 to all. As it was said "If I give you time, we don't have money, if I give you money, we don't have time" and time moves on each day of our earthy life. But he didn't explain that the womb with a male seed does nothing, it requires her dna, Her half of the seed is required.
It's the reason as a young girl I looked for that, "love from a man/father" from any man, and got used and abused, wound up in some pretty ugly and abusive relationships. I wanted that love and acceptance that bad 😔
