@@TheBigDynamonullifies stuff like special cover changes and counter gauges, basically stuff that would normally stop your combo, thats why fusing gogeta blue is the best counter to UG4, he's yellow and has the assault chain

I have a theory that the new SSB Gogeta was the last unit they designed for the anniversary. They probably only expected to drop Super Vegito for part 1, but realized this Gogeta would help drive more summons as well as balance out the new SS4 Gogeta.

@@8Smoker8 How so? It doesn’t make sense to drop 2 Gogetas in one celebration. And SSB Gogeta is the only unit they could drop alongside Super Vegito that would be able to share the hype without being pushed aside.

It could go the other way around, FGB wasn't highly appraised compared to FSV, there was absolutely no reason for UG4 to be purple when we had no RED headline this anniversary, and seeing this as a chance to resale FGB, hence why UG4 is released purple

ah yes to counter gogeta you need another gogeta to counter that gogeta but that gogeta has type neutral when last man but that other gogeta has anti aoe so that gogeta can counter that gogeta so overall gogeta counters gogeta
Type neutral is mad overrated against him since gogeta can easily burn gauge and then wipe gogeta's hand unless gogeta pops main first.

I have literally been blessed this entire anniversary, I’ve gotten every new LF, and even this Ultra right when he came out, I am sending all the ones who have been shafted my dumb luck 🍀
I love how throughout the video you were showing us such security and calm when facing this broken ass unit, while praising the part one units and showcasing them in a way that made it so that facing this new level of powercreep, isn't such a pain to begin with, nice video, thank you :)!
While I love SSB Gogeta and it's nice to see how he's gaining value, these matches mostly have showcased how underpowered his mechanic is and how it needs a buff. Bro has type advantage over Ultra 4geta and can't assault chain him to death due to all the healing happening with filling of the gauge. SSB Gogeta really needed to have a LF BLU VB mechanic of drawing a few strikes with every card he used and the ability to chain Greens and ESPECIALLY Blues into assault chain. Ultra 4geta should not be surviving SSB Gogeta when he is the perfect target (even more so when it's a low star vs high star match).
Truly hope the devs can buff SSB's mecahnic into something powerful, rather the nieche tool that it is today.
I don’t see this as a problem for fgb. The ultra has a one time big heal that you’re just gonna have to pop anyway and you lose type advantage once he’s 50%. I think he could’ve been designed better against regular units that don’t have a gauge but again he’s the only character in the game that can deal with the counter gauges so it’s a fair trade off imo.
From what goresh showed gogeta wasn’t doing anywhere near as good as he should’ve. Idk why goresh would make this a fgb showcase and only give him a hp zenkai instead of an additional offense zenkai.
@@idcblue1527 Pal, idk if you are aware, but at 10:24 a 14* Transformed GB starts a combo with a green card on a damaged 5* UG4, and after using blast + 3 strikes he was out of cards and didnt kill UG4. 14 Stars vs 5 Stars. Best equips vs mid equips. When the anti-counter character can't sidestep to draw a card cause he'd activate the counter - the mechanic sucks. It's BAD.
Now imagine if Assault Chain could combo from that last strike into main ability into blue card without activating the counter - UG4 would be smoked. Or heck, if FGB drew a strike 2 times every time he used a strike?

You can see whether your opponent can fuse if you look at the icon which is on the right of their tag switch gauge, if the little character is coloured white inside then they can, if it's black they can't yet. Hope this helps.
