I am 75 years old and I can tell you, The Mavericks are the best thing to come along in decades. I am at a total loss as to how you stayed under my radar since 1989. I know you have played all over the world, and many places in the USA, but someone missed the boat. You are the finest dance band to come along in my lifetime.
I am 20 years younger than you and they appeared on my radar when I lived in Australia in the late 90s. they are the perfect blend of country, Johnny Cash country, Americana, and rock. No one else compares.
