Never let them say that the reason they wronged me was because of something I said. That’s a lie! The narcissist was stabbing me in the back from the day she started her employment and that’s a fact. She saw me as competition because I was 10 years younger than her. The high school friend could not stand the fact that I was in a higher level position than she was in even though I was the one who recommended her for her job. Then she took the exam so she could apply for the position I held but she failed it. She’s the type of person who probably would have found a reason to get me fired if she could have passed that exam and then applied for my position. That’s the kind of person she is.

Drinking too much was definitely part of it: that was evident from his red nose and face. Class A drugs possibly as well. I have empathy for his addictions but addictions don't make people ruthless and cruel, that's just an excuse he's come up with. He won't be getting a second chance with me, I'm afraid.
