NGL, this song hit hard and had me from the beginning. Even though the MV and song aren't always delivering the same message, I was expecting to see something slinky and sexy or even wildly dissociative and artful. I was not expecting to start bawling. Some of my most healing memories are of all the rides I took with friends because one or both of us were out of sorts. I don't know why it felt so holy and healing to drive without seeming purpose for hours on end, sometimes playing DJ, sometimes talking, sometimes not, but those times still give me life.
